Interesting. I was hoping to get similar tones (with some more mid-options) and a DI in the BP. Obviously the BP has the cab sim too. How would you describe it's sound and why do you love it?

After some thought, I've decided to keep this. It was probably priced to high anyways. I think creating an ad for it has made me realise how much I'd miss it!

For sale is my JMJ mustang bass in daphne blue. After owning this for a few months, it seems I just prefer jazz basses. I've fixed the three most common complaints with these basses by: 1) fully shielding the cavities to eliminate hum and buzz. 2) Stringing it with appropriate scale strings (La Bella 760F-MUS). 3) Sanding the thick neck lacquer down and treating it with Monty's instrument food and relic for an incredibly smooth finish. The body, pickups and hardware are from a Vintera 70s Jazz bass serial MX19058123. I attached it to an AllParts rosewood neck, but have purchased an AllParts 3TSB body to pair with the lovely neck, so I'm selling this fully loaded body. All you need to add is a neck and some strings! I bought the bass second-hand, but there was an issue with the original neck, hence the swap. All the parts are original, except for the knobs and control plate. And the shielding. Everything works perfectly. According to my luggage scales, it weight 2.87 kg all in (as seen in the first picture). The listing also includes a parchment pickguard from Axesrus, ivory pickup covers and chrome knobs (as seen in the last picture). This is hard to beat if you're looking for a tube DI. I've gone down the multi-fx and line isolator route.
