Thanks for the feedback, all. I didn't realise the mid is cut-only. Hmmm... maybe I'll stick with the DCX. I love how it sounds with my JMJ: edge of breakup with a bass and treble bump.

Interesting. I was hoping to get similar tones (with some more mid-options) and a DI in the BP. Obviously the BP has the cab sim too. How would you describe it's sound and why do you love it?

I'm selling an AllParts loaded Jazz bass body, which I had imported from the US for a bass build that I've lost interest in since deciding to keep my JMJ Mustang. The price includes UK postage. It has an AllParts tort pickguard, which came with the body. The hardware is all new and purchased from the UK, which includes: an AllParts nickel control plate, CTS pots, a Gotoh neck plate and strap buttons, and a Hosco vintage bridge. After some thought, I've decided to keep this. It was probably priced to high anyways. I think creating an ad for it has made me realise how much I'd miss it!

For sale is my JMJ mustang bass in daphne blue. After owning this for a few months, it seems I just prefer jazz basses. I've fixed the three most common complaints with these basses by: 1) fully shielding the cavities to eliminate hum and buzz. 2) Stringing it with appropriate scale strings (La Bella 760F-MUS). 3) Sanding the thick neck lacquer down and treating it with Monty's instrument food and relic for an incredibly smooth finish.
