  1. One of the best drum machines ever made £50 with PsU

kniked this bit of spec from BassBunny (hope you don't mind)

As one of the most popular drum machines ever made, the SR-16™ has been used by everyone from songwriters to live performers to remix engineers as their drum machine of choice. The reason is simple: it features a great selection of 233 realistic, natural drum sounds, offered both in dry form and sampled with our incomparable digital reverbs. Our exclusive Dynamic Articulation™ feature enables a drum sound to change its tonal content as it's played harder for truly realistic performances. The SR-16 features 50 preset patterns that were actually played in by top studio drummers, not just programmed and quantized. You'll find enough built-in rhythmic variations (with A, B and two Fill sections) for composing complete arrangements, and you can create and save your own customized patterns and songs. Plus, the SR-16 also provides complete MIDI implementation, a footswitch input, flexible programming and editing features and velocity-sensitive pad buttons. Plus, it's so easy to use that you'll be up-and-running and composing new music in minutes. Whether you need a songwriting partner or an accompanyist for live performance, turn to the all-time world standard in drum machines: the SR-16.

  2. I have carpal tunnel in both hands (had the left one released) If you do have CP it will in no way stop you playing bass guitar, tuba, guitar or keyboards, well it doesn't stop me.
Your first stop must be your GP go see what they say, Hands are a very complicated area. Lots of bones, tendons and nerves that for lots of reasons can cause the problem you are having.
The only way to make sure you get it sorted is to go see a doctor.

  3. SWR 1X15 Workingmans combo, the mutts nutts, really is a fantastic combo. I have always been very pleased with this combo in whatever playing situation, studio or live. I will be very sorry to have to let it go but disability forces sale.

    Info from SWR

    WORKINGMAN’S 15
200 watt, 1x15 combo amplifier with tweeter. Perfect for small to medium size
    gigs. Lightweight!
    Speaker Complement:
    (1) Custom Designed 15" SWR driver
    (1) Custom Designed Piezo tweeter
Power Output: 160 Watts RMS, 200 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms
    (with 8 ohm extension speaker)
    Impedance: 8 Ohms (internal)
    Dimensions: 20.75" W x 27.625" H x 16.25" D
    Weight: 61 lbs.

Although this combo is rated at 160 ~ 200 watts it comes across a lot louder, used it in medium sized venues no problem. It projects it's sound very well.

The cab is fitted with wheels at the rear. Comes with custom made cover (keeps it nice and clean etc)

I have used this combo for live work and in the studio, but no scratches, rips or marks of any kind, I really look after my gear.

Looking for £275.00 or very near offer. Pic's available on request.

    Ta very glad BIGd

  4. Hi, I know everybody claims that stuff they sell is "like new" but this has really never been used. Bought at Bass Day on a "I'll try some pedals" sort of trip, but just not for me.
I would like £70 if I was to sell but am really looking for a good compressor.

    Ta very glad BIGd (Dale)

Is this for sale to people who don't own a black finger? If so: What sort of price were you thinking of?[/quote]

  5. My Tech 21 B/Compactor is making a distorted noise when in use. Would this be worth a repair or is it just f~&ked.
If it's worth fixing does anybody know where I could get it repaired in the Manchester area.
