  3. Acme B2 cab for sale £300. Trade wise a 4ohm cab of some sort? This cab is amazing, the clarity and amount of low end is absolutely stunning! I've used it in pubs around town and its been just enough with a markbass head, if you have something with a greater power this cab should really sing! Heres what acme say about it A very compact cabinet with the bass extension of a good 18" subwoofer. Amazing transient response; from the fundamental of the open B-string, right up to the highest harmonics of a C or F-string. Loud enough for a single cabinet to hold its own against most drummers. High power handling. 350W RMS is a good starting point due to the relatively low efficiency of the cabinet. 500W RMS is ideal. The more power, the better the sound. (Within reason - It's only a 2x10"!) Use it with an upright bass for loud jazz gigs and be rewarded with true acoustic tone. A pair makes a very loud, versatile and compact rig. Stack them end on end for amazing dispersion and clarity or side by side for enormous kick. Use them as a high quality PA. For those occasions where true bass response is paramount, monitor your recordings with them. They really are that 'HiFi'! And the entire rig will still fit on the back seat of your compact hatch. Who wants this?
  4. Sold to Rob, Im sure he'l be very happy with this amp!
  5. No one wants one of the best markbass amps ever?
  6. Cheers folks, seems that people dnt know about this baby, they'd rather just get a little mark when this is at least 5xs better!
  7. Bump.. Updated with pics, as you can see any damage is totally cosmetic and most wear is on the underside of the amp! Works and sounds great, gigged it last night, great tone. Comes with the Markbass bag although one of the zips doesn't close properly, like this when i bought if from Bassdirect last year!
  8. Markbass SA450, great amp, great tone. 500w at 4ohms and 300w at 8ohms. Selling as I'm looking for something with a little bit more power, £320 delivered. Heres what Markbass have to say about this baby.... The SA 450 is our standard, solid-state, professional head. Versatile and packed with features, this head provides more EQ control than the Little Mark II, a line out level control and pre/post EQ switch. Simple and true. All models are equipped with Markbass-designed digital power supply circuitry. Minimum ohm load for all Markbass heads is 4 ohms. Markbass amps/combos are manufactured to be sold and used in the country of purchase, and they are factory preset to that country’s voltage. Due to homologation issues, the voltage may not be changed.
  9. I have a 6 string Flamed Maple Warwick Steamer Stage 1, finished in december 2003, with a broadneck. Trade value 1400. May sell £1300 posted. The bass has some great features such as the 2 piece bridge (which has to be the most adjustable bridges i've ever seen) spacing at the bridge can be adjusted although its set up at 20mm, when it comes to string height both the "just a nut 2" and bridge can be lowered and raised in seconds. At present this bass has a nice low action and of course a great tone! The Ebony Ramp which you can see in the pics I had custom made and is easy to insert and remove, stuck down with nothing more than blue tack as it doesn't leave any marks! Heres what the Warwick website has to say about this beauty. The Streamer Stage I is a true masterpiece of modern bass construction and one of the most successful of all the thoroughbreds in Warwick's stable. Each Maple body is carefully selected and ergonomically shaped for increased stability at a reduced weight. The Streamer Stage I's neck-through design maximizes playability and provides a magnificent foundation for a naturally rich tone and enhanced sound. The extraordinary versatility of the Streamer Stage I is one of its most obvious advantages. Whether in the defined mid-range, or the clear velvety-soft high register, the Stage I performs immaculately. The tone control system, with 3-band electronics provides both dramatic and subtle changes of timbre Been playing this for years now and fancy a change, really want a singlecut 5 string or perhaps a nice ken smith. Willing to put cash towards something also, hit me with any trade offers. Check out the new pics, ive also added the wiring diagram downloaded from the warwick website.
