Nah they are super rare think this model is from 91 and they only made a limited run of these in Japan. I know the U.S. Market love to get their hands on these basses but not sure about the UK market. Once again people feel free to e-mail :-)

Up for grabs is a very nice Tobias Standard 5 (Made in Japan) Very very Rare bass and in excellent condition. No marks on body, headstock and no real signs of fret wear. Only sign of damage is a small chip on the side of the neck. Feel free to e-mail for more info and better photots. As mentioned before bass in now back in case and returned to storage before i get prodded with anymore sharp sticks :-) Bit hard to let a bass go when you get e-mails saying £800 is a very low price. Hi, First off sorry if i sent out the wrong vibe regarding this bass (I had really no idea of the second hand value of the bass) and yes i was wrong not to update my original posting but really was shocked to see the interest! Would have been and still am happy to take £800 the thing was I was hit with many e-mails regarding the bass from the good people here at Basschat and elsewhere all offering £800! This sale is in no way Greed motivated. Sorry goes out to "trevthebass" but can i point out buyers should not "be aware" As a result of the negative feedback think i will just put bass in its case and leave it at that. Seems to be TONS of interest in this bass so here are some photos :-) Due to the fact My Digital Camera looks like its from 1984 the photo quality is poor and do this bass no justice. Trust me bass is absolutely stunning!!! One of the best 5 string basses i have ever seen and trust me i have owned plenty! But due to the missus booking a holiday i really can't afford bass has to go :-( Some info. Only damage to bass is 2 small chips on top of headstock i have tried to show this in photo but hard to photo also Hard wear needs a nice new polish. Rest of the bass is 100% mint with almost no fret wear etc. Bass looks new to be honest. Open to offers for this bass. Bass also comes with Hard case and has just been fitted with new strings.

I did get hold of a Yamaha Nathan east bass BBNEII IN WHITE FOR £600 on ebay last month! Its a buyers market but not a sellers. We will see what happens with the Tobias but i hold very little hope

Yeah Mate thats kinda what im thinking :-( Don't think going any lower than £650 would be worth it so could end up stuck with it :-( I just got too many basses so have of them never see the light of day :-)
