New development, if I turn the bass upside down (strings facing me) it stops!! Also I remembered that I have since changed the batteries since my last rehearsal (when the noise wasn't there)

Sound clip added now in OP I have also just tried my fretless (active) and the noise is not there???? I'm assuming this is an earthing problem with my ACG then?

Yeah did a trade with him for my Valenti! The ACG is such an awesome bass with so many different sounds available (as i'm sure you know having one yourself) lol Who else is in the club, just you and me?

I have noticed there are quite a few different networks nearby when I do a search on my mac. Could this be the cause I wonder?
