It's pretty damn good! Does what it says on the tin. Doesn't perform miracles and completely delete the bass track obviously, but its as good as you could expect.

2. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXSOLDXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

For sale is my EBS Drome 12" combo. 150Watts.

Amazing sounding combo with a huge kick to it. Has a great EQ system and EBS's awesome compressor built in. Very portable and light despite being the non-neo version.

Not used enough to justify keeping as I practice using an effects pedal and gig with a big fat Genz Benz stack.

Has excellent bass erase feature for practising along to CDs/Ipods etc.

Immaculate.

Price is £450 including delivery (within UK)

3. For sale is my immaculate G&L L2500 tribute. As you can see it's natural with maple board.

Absolutely fantastic instrument. Awesome value for money. I'm selling to help fund my new clover.

£350

This was purchased a while back from Bottomfeed. I'm sure he won't mind me using the pics from his original post...

4. I am selling my well gigged Peavey SessionBass rackmount amp head and Peavey 210TX cab.

Both have some scuffs and wear but work fantastically. The head is missing a treble knob but still works 100%.

SessionBass.

200 Watt @ 4ohms lightweight rackmountable bass head

* 3 band EQ with sweepable mid
* Bright Switch
* Limiter
* Low-Z Line out
* Effects Loop
* Tuner send
* Dual speaker outputs

210TX bass cab

t is rated 175 watts @ 4ohms with 2x 10" speakers mated to an attenuable tweeter.

It has a fantastic bright and deep tone with excellent clarity. Would mate brilliantly with another 210 or 115. Sounds much better than the Ampeg 210 I used to own. Very hi-fi sound.

£50 for the head
£75 for the cab

5.
Absolutely immaculate, brand new, never gigged barely used unit.

Only reason I'm selling this lovely speaker is because I want to replace it with an all Genz Benz rig, rather than mixing makes. I currently have a GBE750 on the way and it will "only" be putting 400watts into this 8 ohm cab, where as it will be putting close to 700 into the Genz 212. Hence the sale.

Probably stupid of me to sell it after only just buying it, but there you go I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

This is a great sounding unit.

I paid £530 a few weeks ago for it (2 at the time of writing). Its Yours for £350

Obviously, it comes with all original docs/cables etc and most importantly the full warranty as I have the receipt.

A bargain for a bit of kit that is absolutely brand new.

Feel free to come check it out, if you're able to get to Enfield, North London.
(Warwick and head not included, unfortunately)

7. Immaculate, beautiful 2009 (bought in July - only 4 months old!!) Warwick Corvette $$ Zebrano-II Special Edition for sale.

Ash body, with thick Zebrano top.

In comparison to the Ash model, the sound of the Zebrano has brighter highs and and a tighter bottom.

Incredibly punchy and focused sound, plus a whole load of other tones from mellow and smooth up to outright aggressive can be coaxed from this bass.

I'm looking for £800.

May consider a trade, but I have MAJOR Clover GAS!!

8.
Hey mate :)

Loads of people are saying the Squier Classic Vibe's are great basses, 60's style Jazzes.

Also don't rule out Japanese models if you're after a reissue, I think American Standards are great, but the American RI's are a little overpriced.

Si
Bloody hell that was quick. You spend far too much time on here :rolleyes:

I don't think I can justify a US model, after having bought the G&L 5er and the Corvette $$ in the last few months!

9. Right, I've decided I'm going to stop pretending I don't like Fenders and go get a Jazz bass. I'm thinking a Mexican deluxe or preferably a 60's reissue.

Who has experience with a mexican deluxe? Are the pickups/preamps decent?

Does anyone have any experience of the Mexican 60's Jazz bass?

The bass in this clip sounds and looks AWESOME

10.
Bloody hell....

It sounds AWESOME. It has all the punch and growl of a GK, but with a richer more upmarket overall quality to the tone and MUCH warmer fatter low end. The EQ is much more potent and flexible than the GK too. Both the FET and valve channels sound fantastic.
It's pretty much exactly what I was hoping it was going to sound like, infact.

It's also built like a Challenger tank. Weight is pretty similar too.

I think Im gonna keep the GK neo cab after all. 400 watts will do me fine!

I just need to get me a gig now and turn it up properly..
Oh, and no sign of any buzzing whatsoever, even at high volume sitting right infront of it.

I've only tried a Warwick Corvette $$ through it, so I'm not sure if other basses might be different...

11.
I've just received the amp at work. I'm already impressed by the build quality and general chunkiness of it. Man is this thing heavy though. I have to carry it home tonight too (about a 10 minute walk)...

I'll let you know how I get on when I give it a try tonight.

12.
That's my rig at the moment.. i have experienced what wateroftyne has said, however i wouldn't say within five feet... maybe more like one foot. And if i'm going to stand that close to my amp i'm not happy anyway. Its an amazing rig, the two channels allow me have two completely different setups for any combination of basses. I've often run my double bass into the Fet channel and electric into the tube and it sounds good... not ideal for double bass obviously.... watch the weight on the head though if that's a concern?? it ways a tonne.... but the cab is light and really portable with the wheels. so it a real thumbs up for me... any specifics just mail me.
