This is an amazing bass and is in stunning condition for a 1983 made instrument. I have recently aquired it but have decided to sell now as I bought as an investment but I will gig the hell out of her and wreck any chance of long term profit. The bass plays beautifully and sounds amazing and would be my number one but tbh, I've not got a good track record of keeping basses in such pristine condition. My other two basses are both road worn at best!! All original apart from the replacement pickguard but the original is incuded in the sale. Comes with a foam hard case but will need collecting from South Wales. If she doesn't sell at this price I'm going to keep her and gig her as my main bass and the fact that she will be far from showrrom condition in 5 years will be ok!! Any tryouts aremost welcome. This is the best Precision I've played and this isn't a sales pitch. I'll give it a week and if not sold, she's out on the road!! Many thanks, Dave.

Because they all look really ugly? 😁

I've owned some Aria Pros and Stingrays. Have tried loads of basses over the years. This one is very special!

I bought this bass on Ebay recently and am totally blown away. I've owned loads of basses, USA Precisions, Road Worn series, Fender Japan but this trumps them all in my opinion. To me it feels like the perfect bass. I may be being hysterical but I literally can't put it down and have had it for a month now. Wow!!

I alternate between both but always struggle to get my tone right. If I set it for pick, when I play with fingers it sounds boomy and vice versa. I'm starting to think I should just stick to one for the whole set. Any advice?

I hate changing my strings and have consequently had the same ones on both my basses for about two years. I dislike the zingy bright sound new strings give and am wondering if I should just go to flatwounds? Any advice?

I have 2 Orange 112 cabs and want to use my Warwick Gnome to power them. It only has one jack output on it. Can I connect that to one of them and then daisy chain to the other one? Sorry for the naivety, I've never done this before!!

I have a Sansamp BDDI which is great but I love the sound of the VT Bass Pedal. Would it be worth me getting one and running it with the bass driver or swapping it for the VT Bass DI? Can you use the DI as an effect pedal? I rarely use an amp but when I do I would like to use the effect too! I guess what I'm asking is, what's the main difference between the effect pedal and its DI version? Thanks in advance!

A lovely lighweight cab that punches well above its size. A comfortable carry but powerful enough for rehearsals, small and medium gigs. You could also add another full a banging stack. Has always been looked after really well and never abused. Is in perfect working order but rarely used so time to move on. A lovely vintage type tone and tonnes of room before it starts to complain.

An awesome head in fantastic condition. No issues whatsoever and has served me well in an AC/DC Tribute band which I'm no longer in, hence the sale. Has never missed a beat and has that Ampeg tone heard on so many recordings. Comes in a Gator rack bag which is perfectly functioning and protects the head really well without adding too much weight. Collection from South Wales please. Can be tried out at my home.

An amazing cab that has loads of power and an outstanding tone. 4 ohms so brings the full power of your amp and is suitable for any situation. The cab is lightweight enough to move around easily and has had very little use so is in pristine condition. Comes with a brand new Hot Covers fitted padded cover for protection without added weight. Has castors for ease of movement and looks outstanding on stage with its vintage cloth. Collection only please from South Wales.

Good day, I have an Ampeg 610 that I'm selling as no longer want something as big. I also have an Orange OBC112 which is great for small gigs and rehearsal. My question is, do I replace the 610 with a 410 or similar or buy another Orange 112? If 2 used together would cover everything then I'd be on a winner surely? Any advice or experiences greatly appreciated 👏

In outstanding condition for 26 years old. A couple of scratches but to be expected and are shown in detail in the photos. Plays beautifully with low action. I thought I'd keep her forever but a broken roof forces sale 😔. Amazing butter like maple neck and absolutely no issues at all. Non original semi hard case, hence price. Also comes with clear pickguard. No trades please. Thanks 🙏

Yes mate, thanks. The retainer things are always square though so won't fit in the holes, if you get me?

Hi all, does anyone know where I can order these from please?

An amazing bass with all the mojo. The Pure Vintage pickups sound stunning and the bass is set up to play beautifully. Comes with the official gig bag, all the case candy and, although has a custom shop neckplate on, comes with the original Flea one included. Most welcome to try out at my home in Barry.

Hi all, I'm looking for some knobs and an eq slider for my new amp. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 😊

I'm depping for a band and The Trooper is in the set. I don't think I can get the stamina, it just has never been a strength of mine, literally and I'm close to giving up and playing it with a pick. I've tried very light touch and repeatedly going through it but fail halfway through!! Any tips?
