3. Vox AD60VT - 60 watt modelling guitar amp. I've had this a number of years but now I've had the realisation that I'll be a better bassist than I ever was on guitar; it's time to sell this beauty. Where to start, well it's a 60 watt modelling guitar amp which uses the Korg REMS (Resonant structure and Electronic circuit Modeling System) providing 16 different amp models in the preamp stage then passing it to a tube power amp section. All this with 21 different effects (see below.) The amp also features an attenuator meaning it can be stepped down from 60 watts to just 1 watt (through 30 & 15 watts.) Pictures:- It's in excellent condition with no damage to either the tolex or the fabric. Technical blurb:- AMP MODELS: 16 types EFFECTS: 21 types (Drive: 10 types, Modulation: 5 types, Delay: 3 types, Reverb: 3 types) PROGRAMS: 32 (8 Bank x 4 Channel) IN/OUTPUTS: 2 x Guitar Input (High, Low), Loop Return, 1 x Headphone, Line Out, External Speaker Out 1 x Foot Controller SPEAKER: 1x12" Custom-voiced Celestion POWER OUTPUT: 60W RMS@8ohm TUNER: Auto Chromatic Tuner [Measurement range: 27.5 Hz-2,093 Hz (A0-C7), Calib. A=438-445 Hz] DIMENSIONS: 530(W) x 267(D) x 559(H) mm /20.87"(W) x 10.51"(D) x 22"(H) WEIGHT: 19.6kg / 43.21lbs Pricing:- I'm looking for £200 for the amp. PM me if you have anything you want to trade, such as a small (5 watt) guitar amp but I'll consider anything (except wives and girlfriends, Mrs W... would not approve.) I'd prefer collection (I'm based in Grimsby) due to the weight of the items but as I'm regularly in Hull (band) and Sheffield (work) I'm willing to deliver to these areas as long as an agreement about petrol costs. Other stuff PM me if you need other information about the item or if you want to try it out.
4. After succumbing to a bout of GAS my first rig is now for sale... Ashdown Superfly 500 head This has been gigged only once by me and used at countless practices, but as it was second hand to me don't know its history, but saying that it has performed well enough for me and is still fully functional and in reasonable condition (see photos) Also included will be a pair of rack ears that came with it but I'm not sure if they are the original ones and I'll put the patch editing software and Windows drivers on a CD if needed. 5. Last night was the first gig with my band The Penny Whores at Hollywood and Vine in Hull. There were quite a few people in the audience and the reception we got was a warm one. No rotten fruit or veg thrown at all! More importantly it was my first ever gig My live playing cherry has been popped, roll on the next gig, I like the rush!!
6. I find The Undertones - Teenage Kicks a good song to rattle off...
7.
what kind of music do ya play
Mainly rock:- Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Stereophonics, AC/DC to classic stuff like The Kinks, Deep Purple and then on to more modern stuff from bands starting 'The' (The Fratellis, The Hives, The Kaiser Chiefs and so on)
8. Hi, As the title says this is a big hi to everyone here. I'm new to the bass, came over to the darkside from a number of years playing guitar as I heard the coffee and biscuits are better. As far as my rig goes it's a simple affair, an Ibanez SR200 running through an Ashdown Superfly and a Hartke 115XL cab. I'm in a covers band playing classic and newer rock, though we are looking for a singer at the moment. Cheers w...
