  1. Hi Guys

This is bass has been with me since 2009 and has been gigged regularly and therefore in a gigged condition there are a few dents and scratches but is in good generally the colour has aged nicely. It still plays and sounds fab.

I play 5 string exclusively these days and have a another 4 string as a back if I need one.

Neck - Flamed Maple with a bound Rosewood fingerboard and MOP block inlays
Body - 2 piece medium weight Alder finished in Sonic Blue with matching stock
Hardware - Hipshot Ultralite Lollipop Machines with D-Tuner and B Style bridge in chrome
Electronics - J-Retro Marcus Miller Flat Response
    Pickups - DiMarzio Ultra Jazz

The bass weighs 4kg on my scales around 8.82 lbs, I will be replacing the brass chrome knobs with John's new aluminium ones which helps get the weight to around 8.5lbs I hope

    Comes with a Hiscox case

This bass new is just shy of 3K so it's a bargin £ 1100.00 ono includes deliver

  2. Hi Guys

Just got a new Acoustic Image Flex pre-amp which I'm using now instead of this. The Coda R has just completely re-conditioned by me with 2 new drivers, a re-conned power section and pre-amp so it's in A1 working order (I have by passed the tweeter as they are not made anymore, the new 5" drivers are designed to cover these frequencies).

Comes with an Acoustic Image Deluxe gigbag (they rrp at over a £ 100.00 these days).

Looking for £ 400.00 will through in shipping PayPal is fine.

    Cheers

    Laurence

  3. Hi Guys

I've been following this thread and thought I'd throw in my experience.

I have a set of Ultimate Ears UE7-Pros and a Sennheiser G3, I run my basses from a Stageclix in to an Avalon U5 straight in to a X32 and run a through in to an Aguliar DB751 and DB212. I use an iPad to control my own mix. I sing BV's and use a Sennheiser e865.

The sound is wonderful and for anyone who's interested it's definitely worth it, everything is clear, rich and precise and unless you are using optigates on the mic's there's a nice level of ambience.
