I have a MIM Precision for a while. Am not a certified Fender man, so felt like a good way to try the brand and instruments without burning a bigger hole in my pocket.

I should have probably taken LeonShelley's advice - I guess I was trying by buying!

But no, no regrets. I have no doubts - not withstanding the odd QC issue reported here - that the US, Japanese, etc, are better; but it's a good way to get into it

Just to confirm that Nancy is a total don, deal with in confidence - this will be as good a guitar as he says, knowing his tastes

Total sympathy to the OP, it feels like that market is totally dysfunctional. You wouldn't accept someone buying all the bread and then pushing you to buy from resellers at an inflated price.

Anyway, to topic - I think it looks good. The EB pick-ups and coils worked well in that bass; the Babicz bridge is an improvement - what's not to like?

I assume the finishes will all have been completed on a Friday afternoon by someone wanting a beer, and Gibson will ask more than enough for it, but that's standard
