+1 for the Big Muff - nice bit of distortion. Great for the sort of music I play, and has enough capacity for fiddling to allow some flexibility.

There are a great many things you could try - change of strings; pick-ups; settings; etc.

You'll often find this. People have plenty of comms in the lead-up; then, once they've realised their goal, their interest shifts. They no longer need the comms, and it slips.

Hopefully this chap will be too busy enjoying his new bass to drop you a line.

That said, I do personally like to check back in a week or so later, just to say it was all ok and provide some feedback.

I have Wizard PJs in my 1987 ST bass - and will shortly be doing the same for the Platinum. Andy has two flavours - and I recommend the 'big' set for a more bombastic sound.

Great value for money - and Andy at Wizard is more than happy to answer questions. I'd drop them a line.

I can't fault them, really. I have some Area 51s in my Ironbird, bought from this forum, and they're certainly something else.

Nothing wrong with wanted a BC Rich. The USA and Vintage models are superb, and you'll see some lovely examples on these forums (and a lot more on the likes of BCRichplayers.com). I'd be content to remain amateur, to be honest - unless it's a substantial additional income, so as to off-set the liability.

Three months isn't a long period of time, in the grand scheme of things. Though it could well [i]feel[/i] a very long period of time if you're stuck doing little.

However, I'm bored of the light side of the force getting all the product. I say rage. Turn to the dark side. If nothing else, it will produce drama.
