4.
Right then ... been with this guitar for a couple of days now. It's everything all the reviews say (http://reviews.harmony-central.com/r...ha/SA2000/10/1) and much more, but I didn't click with it (maybe too many years playing solid bodies). Below the original description from the previous seller on ebay: Yamaha SA 2000S – Dark Cherry Made in Japan 1980 – 100% Original This is a fabulous Dark Cherry Japanese made SA2000S . One of the rarest of all and highly desirable both as a collector and as an alternative to the Gibson 335 . Argueably the finest 335 ever made bar none. Yamaha have made no pretense here and this is an out and out Gibson 335 challenge. When they were launched in the USA in 1978 Yamaha said : To compete with Gibson, everything had to be better. Better fretwork, totally clean binding and the best finishes on any guitar product in the world. All of this was achieved and a host of big name players opted for the SA for their superior playability , build quality and tonal range. The SA 2000S was the top of the range 335 with a solid spruce and mahogany body with the best hardware Yamaha ever produced . It also features coil taps which extend the fabulous range even further . The new SA2200 fine as it is doesn’t come close, being made with sustainable timbers and just lacks the mojo that only 30 plus years can add. Condition is good but I will list the few cosmetic issues and advise studying the pics as well . There are some in the varnish dinks on the front around the jack area and a tiny headstock scuff but overall pretty clean and the little there is can be easily corrected . Plenty of light pick marks but these will polish out if they bother. Fretwear is very mild with years left in them – Not an issue – The worst as usual on a Yamaha is that the goldware has blistered and worn here and there but again easily corrected . The pickup covers which had tarnished also have been removed but are in the case. One of the tuner cover caps is missing but effects nothing. No binding or inlay issues – No Fogging – No chips or repairs and overall a fantastic guitar. One not to miss . Hand on heart this has to be one of the finest sounding and playing guitars I have ever handled – Low – Fast and super slick .. Just sublime. It even comes in the original hardcase which has a few battle scars but is solid. I don't want to make any profit, I bought it for £925 and I'm selling for the same price delivered (or could be interested in some exchange + money, try me). tks
hiya mike here,i have a superb fender aerodyne bass and a peavy /hartke rig for sale, would you be interested in a trade??as i am going back to 6 string and really like the look of this guitar, cheers

 6.
I want to trade/sell my beloved Mesa Engineering Trem-O-Verb Dual Rectifier 2 x 12 combo. It's in excellent condition (apart from the handle which is not broken it's just a bit tatty looking, it's still as strong as an ox, plus a couple of scuffs here and there but it is an amp that has been gigged but been looked after it, plus it's over 10 years old!) it comes with it's mesa footswitch and has the removable casters. I've never had any issues with the amp and it's always come up with the goods no matter what. It sounds absolutely lush, the clean is amazingly rich but it's that famous dual Rectifier Hi-Gain that will just blow your socks off it just sings especially with my Gibson 335 and infact with just about any guitar that i've put through it to be fair. However this wee beasty is too loud for me currently as i'm only gigging pubs and clubs now. So i'm looking to lower my wattage. Basically i'm really looking for a trade for an Orange (AD30TC or Rockerverb 50). Although I'm not really looking to spend any more cash atm, if you offer me something that really impresses me I am more than willing to put my hand in my pocket or offer you my lovely Takamine 12 String acoustic in part aswell to sweeten the deal. If you're interested in buying the amp make me an offer of around £800, but if it's not enough i'll tell you straight up! I will not and repeat not post this amp it's collection only or delivery for a small fee :-). So come on drop me a line all serious offers will be considered.
hiya.would you consider an excellent fender bass and peavy /hartke 400 watt rig as an exchange???,cheers, mike, hull

 11.
Following the acquisition of a Barefaced Vintage, the old Peavey rig's gotta go. So, up for sale we have the following: Peavey Max 700 head: £200 ono Peavey 410 TVX cab with variable tweeter @ 4 ohms: £100 ono Peavey 115 BVX BW (that stands for Black Widow, BTW) cab @ 4 ohms: £80 ono And if you want the whole lot, I'll knock a bit extra off the total. Say, £350? That's a whole lotta loudness for not much wonga. With both cabs running off the head, it's a huge black monolith of bottom end. It's got a really straight-forward, uncoloured sound, with punishing volume levels. All in well-used nick, 5 or 6 years old. Scuffed and scraped Tolex from a good few years of rehearsal and gigging, but no actual damage to head or cabs, and everything works perfectly. Any questions, fire away. Preferably collection from the Tyneside area, but I may be able to meet halfway over sensible distances, especially down Yorkshire way. Now for the shoddy pictures. The head: The 1x15: The 4x10: And the whole shebang: Here's the standard manufacturer spiel. I know the stuff about the head is bang on, but the specs of the cabs have changed a bit over the last decade or so, so they might be for a slightly different version. Either way, they're close to reality : Max 700 Head Punishingly loud top box design cranks out 700W @ 2 ohms, 475W @ 4 ohms, or 275W @ 8 ohms. Features a 3-band active EQ with shiftable midrange control, lively contour control, and -10dB pad switch. Has an active crossover with variable frequency and balanced controls; a buffered tuner send jack; footswitchable post-EQ effects loop; transformer balanced XLR jack with pre-/post-EQ send switch and ground lift; DDT power amp compression with defeat switch; and preamp out/power amp in jacks. Dimensions 23.5" W x 8.5" H x 13" D. Weight 52.5 lbs. 410 TVX cab 4 ohms. 350 Watts RMS continuous / 700 Watts program. Four 10" Sheffield® bass speakers. Front-ported enclosure. Horn-loaded tweeter w/ L-pad attenuator for tweeter and protection circuitry. Frequency response: 30 Hz to 15 kHz. One 1/4" phone jack input connection. Dimensions: 24.75" W x 19.25" D x 28.25" H. Weight: 97.5 lb. Rubber feet. 115 BVX BW cab 4 ohms. 400 Watts RMS continuous / 800 Watts program. One 15" Black Widow® 1502 speaker. Specially-ported enclosure.
