  1. Price drop - £95 posted
  2. Selling my boss RC-30 classic looping pedal. It's boxed and in excellent condition. Velcro on the underside. Only selling as I'm upgrading. Looking for £95 which includes UK postage.
  3. Very nice! Do you have any audio clips?
  4. Nice! What’s the weight?
  5. Found it! Thanks
  6. Wow that’s cool, do you have any audio? I’d love to hear it!
  7. Final price drop - £150!
  8. Not entirely sure.. it's one that I got when I bought a bass a while back. It appears to be a generic 'tourtech' case.
  9. Price drop - £175
  10. Thank you! On my rubbish scales it's approx 9lbs. Feels light for a 6 string.
  11. Thank you both - and yes Brian Bromberg is an astonishingly good musician!
  12. Up for sale is my immaculate Cort C6 (home use only). This was a lockdown project for me as I'd never played a 6 before. Lots of fun but I don't have the time to invest in playing a 6 string so I'm moving it on to free up some funds. Professionally set up with DR Sunbeams, it plays and sounds great. Bartolini pickups and a markbass pre, I think it's a lot of bass for the money. I'll post a video clip below so you can hear it in action. Comes with a 'tourtech' hardcase which is also in great condition. Looking for £395 which includes UK delivery. Now sold Spec from the Cort site: CONSTRUCTION Bolt-On CUTAWAY Double Cutaway BODY Mahogany(Palaquium) Body w/ Zebrawood&Maple Top NECK Canadian Hard Maple FRETBOARD Jatoba FRETS 24 SCALE 864mm (34") INLAY White Dots TUNERS Die-cast Tuners BRIDGEEB12(6) Bridge PICKUPS Bartolini MK-1 Pickups ELECTRONICS Markbass MB-1 EQ HARDWARE Black Hardware STRINGS 6 Strings
  13. Very slight neck dive, the tuners are lightweight which helps. I found that because the body was bigger than a standard electric my right arm would naturally balance the bass without any strain due to the fact that the whole bass is super light. Hope that helps!
  14. I'm selling my Ibanez semi-acoustic, it's vintage inspired, very light and sounds huge. Only selling as I'm trying to free up some funds. It has recently been professionally set up with a new set of labella flats and comes with a protection racket case (£100-£150 new). Both the bass and case are in excellent condition. Collection only. Now sold.
  15. Up for sale is my Yamaha BB614. It was de-fretted by the previous owner and has since been professionally set up (currently strung with Thomastik flats). Plays and feels really nice. Only selling as I'm upgrading. It is a little road worn (see pics) but it's a very well made bass for the money. Would make a great bass if you fancy getting into fretless playing. Looking for £150 collection only (no case or box). Now SOLD. Specs found from a previous sale post of the same bass. Construction: Bolt-on neck. Scale Length: 864mm (34"). Fingerboard: Rosewood. Frets: 21 Large. Radius: 250mm (10"). Body: Alder. Neck: Maple. Tuners: Open type. Bridge: Vintage Style. Pickups: Split single coil, Soapbar single coil. 3 Band EQ.
  16. Hey, I've recently started creating some backing tracks to practice along with, here's a Neo Soul style backing track with no bass. Let me know what you think!
  17. I had the MXR for a while but it had too many controls for my liking. I definitely prefer simple pedals. Thanks for the kind words - that Bromberg piece was a challenge!
  18. Just realised that this should probably be in the 'groove library' part of the forum - oops!
  19. Hey, I recently created a backing track for my bass students to practice some fills/timing. I figured that I would share it here in case anyone fancied trying it out. Let me know what you think!
  20. Hey, so I got round to uploading the track, here's a link and explanation if you feel like jamming along! http://www.alexphillipsbass.com/blog/funk-bass-fills-practice-track
