  1. now Sold.
This is a very nice bass at a nice price
It was lovingly made by a master cabinet maker over 20 years ago for his wife who played in a country band
He made a few basses and guitars around that time.
The build is fantastic it's based on a thumb 4 so has the same pick up placement as a 4 but with the correct width neck of a thumb 5
So the body is slightly smaller than a 5.
A one off hand tooled solid brass bridge.
bubinga wenge and ebony woods ,bartolini pick ups. The wenge strips have some sap wood in them and go from chocolate brown to grey in the headstock.
Only thing that could be improved in my opinion is the machineheads which aren't as good as the schaller versions.
It has no logo on headstock or truss rod cover though you could easily design your own personal versions.
I don't have a case though I could wrap it up safe given time for shipping.
    £500

  2. Thanks , yes hardly any fingerboard or other wear from new , the "west Germany" etc. lettering on the plate is quite often half rubbed off on them at this age.

I only have a gig bag but happy to pack safe and ship in reply to other question thanks.

No probs mate. You can identify them by the pole pieces as they are not flat they taper up.

Ah they don't do that ,so won't be those they look erm "reliced" too lol

Mentioning reissue 59 pups took me Mike Dirnt as he uses those specifically for his fender sig bass so, guessing they are these fellas:

Thanks for the info mate not sure if they are or how I'd tell to be honest, but they seem decent quality
