Bit of a story there - it arrived at Richards Guitars and failed his QC checks, he sent me a pic and it had a small but noticeable cosmetic flaw.  He was about to order me another and a friend messaged me to see if I wanted to buy his Ibanez.  Order cancelled, Ibanez here and happy Moos3h but do still have a bit of an itch to scratch with the Cort.

Meant to say, I have a metal tool case that has been adapted to fit this as a perfect case to move it around in. Will include free of charge but it will bump up the delivery if you choose to have it posted.

not even close, those rolled edge fingerboards on USA Fenders are to die for. No business can make their cheap brand better than their premium brand and stay in business.

I'd agree with that, although ultimately most of what makes the GOOD ones is in the finishing stage and a lot of that can be done yourself if you enjoy that sort of thing - making a bass that's yours and suits you.

My Squier 'required':

- Fret Dress

- Neck sanding down

- Fingerboard edges rolling

- Full setup

- New strings

and whilst I was at it, I ripped out the electronics and put some EMGs in.

Now you could certainly argue it didn't NEED any of the above, you could also argue that it reaches 'Trigger's Broom' status after a certain amount of work/changes/upgrades but if like me you find that part of the 'fun' then that's cool.  Is it comparable to a USA mode? IMO, no.  Was it fun? Yeah!

Check out my laurel!  Have hit it twice with the lemon oil and looking pretty healthy.

£500 today! Go go go!

I had one and it was sh*te.  Total boat anchor...looked cool but that was about as far as it went.  Ply body too - you can usually tell as the forearm contour on sunburst models will be black.

How important is light weight? If you're not fussed then go second hand 'old school's (TE, Ashdown etc) for best bang for buck.

I've experience of all those amps and whilst they are giggable, they don't handle it well and lose a lot of composure at higher volumes.

I thought that but keep it fed and it looks great! I think they just let it get super dry on the basses its used on.

I have a gaming PC in the classifieds here that would work a treat. Can be supplied without the graphics card if you prefer, to keep the price down!

It really is mate, it's only the ridiculous amount of spending that I've done recently that means I need to recoup some cash, or I'd happily keep it.

I'd imagine that most sellers of something *nice* will always have it available by another channel too?  e.g. I've a bass for sale at the moment, it's on ebay for visibility but I have it listed here, Facebook, Reverb etc. so always worth a quick google to check!
