i have a Blazer - see avatar pic right - in fact got I've got one and a half Blazer's..! The one shown is a great bass, nice mids and growly p/ups - fretboard like butter and good weight definitely - sounds really punchy and has fab sustain..great brass bridge..gigged regularly. The 'half' Blazer is just the body and I took the p/ups out of it and put them in a Fender Mex P bass - which strangely enough didn't really work - the body's now lying in the loft - make a neat coffee table cos the ash wood is so nice..

you'll need to select full edit option bottom of your ad - and then you'll see UPLOAD options in green - click BROWSE just below and select from your desktop the pic you want and then do UPLOAD - they'll show up in 'Manage Current Atachements' -open this and double click each one and they'll appear in your advert space..
Does your amp have both line and DI out then? Did the sound man connect your Line Out to a DI box or run it straight to his desk? Given the choice between a DI and a Line I would take the former every time. Or mic the amp if there is room.
Hi yeah amp has both options, and he used the line out - I often think I'd prefer to be mic'd but there generally seem to be some differing opinions out there on whether bass rigs shud be mic'd or di'd
-
okay ta - does any of that go towards explaining why sound guy at my gig last night did a line out connection for my amp? I understand the DI principle but am struggling to see the diff to line out!!

Any info on the difference on DI and line out please? And is line out still subject to the same principles of being of being fed pre or post eq? Thanks
