6. Spot on straight swap, my Diesel Dawg for his Carbon Copy. Absolutely flawless transaction. Have no fear with this one!
 7. I have a very high powered Gallien Krueger 410RBH-4ohm 4x10" 800w cab. Sounds incredible (I have another one I'm keeping) as used by Duff and Flea (among others) Spec and look as per - http://www.gallien-k...rbh_series.html Has good quality padded cover, and I'm sure I have wheels somewhere. Will upload pics when at a PC (using my phone) Would like £400 cash. Collected or local meetup around Bognor Regis.
 8. Hi guys, I have a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass Guitar in black with matching headstock. Very Good condition with a few minor nicks, nothing serious. Has upgraded pickups, in the form of a Seymour Duncan STK-J2B in bridge and Fender 57/62 Precision pickup in neck. Has the usual cosmo black hardware, no neck dots, and lovely gloss neck. Plays really well. I would like £499. Also collection from Bognor Regis or near-by meetup as I have no hardcase. I have pics on my phone which I can't upload here but will do when at a pc. Please message me with your email address If you'd like pics sooner?!
 9. Would you trade for a Gallien Krueger Diesel Dawg? - The bass specific distortion GK put in their 2001rb that Duff and Flea use? I'm in west sussex also!
 10. Can you email me pics to "][email protected] - Many thanks
I recently got this Telecaster Custom as part of a deal, but it's not for me as I'm happy with my US fender Telecaster. It's an Indonesian made Tele in the classic 'Custom' style that's very popular nowadays. The guitar itself is in average to good condition, with some wear to the fretboard, a tiny little bit of rust-wear on the switch (but it functions well and the guitar work perfectly) and some marks to the scratch-plate etc. There is also a rather more nasty chunk of wood out of the bottom that happened before I'd owned the guitar. Thankfully none of this affects the guitar, which plays well. The maple board is nice and clean and the guitar plays well all the way up the fretboard. The pick-ups are surprisingly strong and make an impressive noise! Everything works beautifully well, but it could do with setting up and a bit of a clean which is why it's priced like this. All in all, a nice guitar and one which - with a little love - will be something that will do you proud. I will upload some photos tomorrow or I can email them. There is no case but it will be sent in a thick guitar cardboard box and with liberal amounts of bubble wrap! I'm based in central Bristol if you want to come and see the guitar, collect or try it out... Cheers and thanks for stopping by. You stay classy now.
11.
Looks to me like LAMF (like a mother-f*cker)
That's exactly right. An old Johnny Thunder reference which duff loves for some reason, ha.

 13. Thanks man. It really is. I actually have one of the original Japanese ones in Black, again in duff's spec and I prefer the playability of that one as the neck feels more jazz like. This reissue neck is slightly chunkier.
Beautiful bass though by the way!
14. Thanks Steve. Unfortunately I don't have any of the stock parts around. I think they were lost in my house move shortly after I did the mods as the bass was used for gigging not hanging. I wouldn't expect the pickups to make the value any higher. Thanks for your feedback though, it is much appreciated.
Depends on who's looking to buy it. I like Duff's tone and playing, but personally I'd never pay extra for a signed instrument. If anything I'd sooner have an unmarked one. A massive Duff fan with a bit of spare cash might have other ideas however... On the subject of adding things such as pickup upgrades, in my experience they never add value to a bass. I've seen a few s/h Squier VM Jazzes with expensive pickups and posh bridges etc up for sale at the cost of bass+parts(usually for 150% of the rrp!) and none have ended up selling for more then the price of a new one, no matter what has been done to them. I'd recommend reverting it to stock and selling the spares separately any day!
15. If this is worth something, and someone would appreciate owning it more than I do I would look to move it on. I have had a couple of custom basses built for me so have been using these more. I may eBay auction it if no interest on here, if it is worth selling I think I will. Here is me handing the bass to the man himself, he also signed an MXR M-80 pedal (pictured below) for UK distributors Strings and Things who I think auctioned it for charity. Same pen too ;-) And cue bass on sofa pics... 16. I've got a Duff McKagan signature Fender bass. I worked in a guitar store and pre-ordered one of the first into the country. I used it on quite a few gigs so it has a few marks but nothing major. It's had the p-bass pickup replaced with what duff uses in his custom shop basses and strap locks added, again like Duffs. The best part, mine is signed by Duff in silver marker on the back of the headstock. He did so at GAK in Brighton before a Velvet Revolver show at the Brighton Centre. I have a photo of me and him with the bass. What do you guys think? Unsigned these normally go £550-£600 I think. Is it worth more? Any advise appreciated, and any interested parties can message me directly. I haven't put this to the for sale forum as its not currently available to buy.
 17. Hi Guys, I have an extremely rare Gallien Krueger Diesel Dawg, this is the sound of Duff McKagan and Flea as it is the same distortion used in the flagship 2001rb model GK amp head. I am looking for £95 plus postage which is going to be around £10 due to the weight, it probably weighs as much as some of the micro amps coming out! I am based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex and welcome cash on collection. Bank transfer preferable for mail order, but PayPal also acceptable. It is rather large, like a Big Muff and quite heavy but sounds great. The only reason for the sale is that I actually have the 2001rb and this was used with my spare amp, which I no longer own. This pedal has also recently been discontinued. GK's only distortion/sustain pedal created specifically for bass. Based on circuitry from the 2001RB high-gain channel, it provides a great sustain sound. Features Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, and output Level controls. It has a rugged aluminium casing, and is powered by a 9V battery or wall supply.
