2. Best Rack Tuner on the market. Good luck with the sale. I dont need another unfortunately.

    Out of interest is it the newer all black one or the black/silver fronted one?
This is still for sale :) £110 is the asking price. Desperate for a quick sale.
    Thanks,

  3. Would you be interested in a swap for an MXR M-80 Bass DI?
Just like the BDDI but with a Mid control. In as new condition, with original box and instructions. £100 to include P&P.
4. Was a pleasure to sell you my beloved tuner! Just put it on the strobe setting for a bit of fun!
Just picked up a Korg rack tuner from Chris - good guy to deal with. :)
Brilliant! A cross between a Ricky and an Aerodyne Jazz Bass??

  6. Well teching means i can take my time before shows to really tune and setup. During the show while im tuning one guitar the artist is already using another one. I find that in a live situation when i need to tune my own (bass), possibly just in between songs i need to tune quickly. Hence the Korgs. To be honest, the Korg are some of the best ive found, well i always sound in-tune at least!

    God knows.
That must be like going from fresh strawberries to Opal Fruits.

    Mind you, I'm a bit baffled by the specification claims of these tuners. If the Turbo Tuner is ±0.02 cents, isn't that going to make the Peterson 490 (which claims 0.1 cent accuracy) redundant, along with much of the Peterson line?
7. I used to tech for tribute acts up and down the country. We always used a Peterson 490 for all the instruments. I now use Korg DTRs.
Indeed...

    Tuner GAS?

    List price US$5k. :)
8. Have just got a DTR-2000 off a fellow BassChatter. So this has to go!

    Offers please..

    Here's the Korg guff...

    Korg, who created the world's first rack-mountable tuners, now announces the DTR-1000, a must-have item for the professional musician, packed with essential features for pro-guitar performance.

    "The consistency of the Korg Metronomes and Tuners is unparalleled. The DTR-2000 Tuner is my favorite! I love the readout and the accuracy of this tuner. On stage it is perfect for it's accuracy and visibility. It also has a very cool look that even the fans often notice."

    -Lee Ritenour

    * Chromatic Tuner

    * Automatically detects note name and accurate pitch

    * Two types of display: "cent" or "strobe"

    * Seven-semitone flat tuning support

    * Adjustable Calibration of 438-455 Hz

    * Dimensions: 18.94"(W) x 4.45"(D) x 1.81"(H)

    * Weight: 3.09 lbs

    Rack-mountable tuner
    The DTR-1000 is re-designed for even better visibility from a distance when you're on stage. The LED tuning indicator moves as smoothly as a needle and there's a large sixteen-segment display confirming your tuning note.

    You can also use a "strobe" display that indicates the difference between the input sound and the correct pitch by the left/right movement of a light. On the DTR-1000, you can select either "cent" or "strobe" display for tuning.

    Seven-semitone flatted tuning
    The DTR-1000 also supports the flatted tunings used to give the sound greater depth. The seven-semitone flatted tuning mode provides for dropped tunings all the way from one semitone down to a maximum of seven semitones below standard pitch - two semitones lower than the five-semitone flatted tuning supported by Korg's previous guitar tuner.

    Input and output jacks
    The front panel of the DTR-1000 provides INPUT and MUTE jacks, and the rear panel provides INPUT, OUTPUT, and MUTE jacks.

    *If both front panel and rear panel jacks of the same type are connected, the front panel jack will be given priority.

    Adjustable Calibration
    The Calibration function supports a variety of standard pitches, and can be adjusted in 1 Hz steps over a range of 438-445 Hz. The Auto Reference Calibration function detects the pitch of an instrument and and sets that pitch as the reference pitch. (Accommodates a range of 428 Hz-452 Hz.)

  9. Up for grabs, my old Chorus pedal. (as new) I now have a rack unit that does the job just fine.

    The CH-1 Super Chorus pedal delivers a clean classic chorus sound with crystal-clear highs and a unique stereo effect, variable between left and right speakers.

    * Classic Boss chorus pedal with clean, brilliant sound for guitar and keyboards
    * Effect Level, EQ, Rate and Depth knobs allow for precise shaping of sound
    * Features Mono input and Stereo outputs for connection to dual amps

  10. You cant beat a proper Peterson... Not the same as there own digital versions!
Just got a Turbo Tuner, and it's awesome. Incredibly fast tracking and really easy to use and read.

    This video's been posted several times before, but it just shows you how quick, easy and small the Turbo Tuner is -- much more so than the Peterson, which costs a fair wedge extra:

    Indeed, the Korg Pitchblack has a "strobe mode", but it's not a true strobe tuner so it's not anywhere near as accurate as a strobe tuner. Behold:

    Korg Pitchblack accuracy: ± 1 cent
    Sonic Research Turbo Tuner accuracy: ± 0.02 cents

    Yes, the TT is 50 times more accurate. :)
11. Please note: This is also for sale on Ebay with £10 Postage. I will do it FREE postage to any BassChat folk.

    Up for auction is my nearly new Ashdown Little Giant 350. I purchased it as a spare and never needed it. I now have a new amp. It is like new, comes in original box with unused rack ears and fixings.

    Absolute bargain!

    Cash on collection preferred

    Despite fitting into the front pocket of an average bass guitar gig bag, new Ashdown Little Giant 350 bass amp punches way above its weight of 6.6lbs/3kg with a heavy-hitting combination of power, tone and features.

    Measuring just 8.27" x 2.6" x 12.2" (including an internal power supply), the Little Giant packs a comprehensive range of facilities including switchable active/passive instrument inputs, 7 band semi-parametric EQ for precision tone shaping, Deep and Shape switches for instant access to killer sounds and an EQ in out switch, along with an input level control and meter, output level control and power switch.

    Things are equally impressive around the back of this pint-sized power-house, with a pre/post switchable balanced DI output, FX send and return, line input and output and a pair of combination Speakon/Jack speaker outputs.

    Hooked up to a good bass cabinet, the Little Giant comes alive with a full, rich sound and stunning dynamics that belie their diminutive weight and size.

  12. Hey dude

    I am very interested in this flight case. I also have a 4u flightcase wood/metal one. Would you be interested in a trade? I give you case plus £20 cash?

    I live in Bognor Regis, so we could meet half way. Say Crawley? Thats 35 miles each?

    What do you think?
Hi

    for sale i have a 6u Aluminum sleeved rack case. This has racked my SVT4 Pro for ages now and its looked after it great. Im only selling due to me looking to downsize to a 4u.

    The first pic is from the previous owner however the second one is with all my gear inside.

    I would like £50 for the rack case but i would consider a trade for a good 'plastic' 4u case.

    Pickup would be preferred but i can look into posting it if there is any interest. I am based in Swanley, Kent so i can deliver the case to potential buyers within reason.

    Please ask if you want any more info about the case.
