1. I use a GK Rig with a Head and two cabs. For smaller gigs i wanna take the pandora, a Phonic Max1500 Power Amp and one cab. I very rarely DI to a PA direct. The bigger gigs i would use the GK rig and its internal DI.
Depends what you mean by a PA amp.

If you take a feed from the Pandora headphone socket to a mixing desk, then you'll take your output through the PA and you're sort-of using the Pandora as a DI box. That should work, though you might get a rather distorted sound.

If you take the feed direct to a power amp and use that to drive your cab, then I suspect you'll be way short of enough signal to drive the power amp properly.

Someone who knows a lot more than me will be along in a second ...
2. A tenner? Cos i don't want one! :) Like i said i had one and was a great bit of kit. Why you wanna convert to a six string anyway? Nutter!
Hi Chris,

I just listed it for what others were asking. Not really done too much research on current prices.

Always open to offers... Be as cheeky as you like ;-)

    Cheers, Lee
3. Hey Guys

I am after the quickest, easiest and cheapest way of getting a spare rig for rehearsals and small gigs. I have a Pandora and a PA Power Amp. Would this work together? Has anyone got any experiance in doing this?

    Thanks for your time.

  4. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
Hey guys. I have a mint-boxed ARTEC A/B Switch never really used it. Its great quality, true bypass and has different colour LED depending on which output you are on.

    Allows you to switch between the following;

    2 Guitars into 1 Amp
    2 Amps into one speaker
    1 Amp into 2 Speakers
    1 Guitar into 2 Amps

  6. Hey dude. Don't wanna sound rude, because i am honestly offering some info. I think it might be worth lowering your price. Since this pedal was discontinued, prices for new ones have gone real low. £180-£199 now at Sounds Live Shop.

I had one of these and they are brilliant for getting a great DI Sound if you don't take an amp along. Also very versatile as a Pre-Amp running into a Power Amp and Cab.

    Hope someone snaps this up!

    BUMP!

  7. Hope this helps your sale. I'm a big fan of GK, as you can probably see from my Signature.

  8. Hey dude. How well does the neck sit into the body? Will it need any mods to get it rolling?
Ive been meaning to do this up for a while now, but i barely get time to play bass let alone build one

Black P-Bass Body: Pretty good condition, very light. Just your standard p-bass really. £30 posted

SX Jazz Neck. Originally from my SX jazz. Tidy condition. Nice flame effect. It does have a string tree btw  £30 Posted

Wizard Thumper Pickup. Popular around this forum and for good reason, theyre bloody good! :) Im not sure what to ask so Offers.

Pickguard from the above bass. Currently part wired with CTS pots and an Orange Drop Cap. £12 Posted

2x Standard fender style bridges, one with screws and the other i should be able to find some for. £5 each posted
Marlin Sidewinder pickup set, A P and a humbucker.
Dont see many of these for sale, they came from my sidewinder, i replaced them with just an american delux humbucker.
They worked fine when they were in my bass, they are pretty old so show some wear and tear, and the p-bass one has some rust on the poles. The output for each pickup is 19 Ohms? £5 a peice posted

Ill do the whole bass project for £80 posted.

    bank transfere prefered.

    Thanks
10. Do you reckon the seller purchased it and actually believes its a Gibson or is he just being a complete knob?
I wouldn't normally post something like this, particularly as it's a guitar, but anyway.

This LP - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=330381576449 - is not a genuine Gibson. The guy is trying to pass it off as such and has produced the hookey letter of authentication (which I believe Gibson didn't do in 1971) to try and substantiate his claim that it's real. I know this because I went to look at it and nearly lost me rag because the guy had messed me around so much that it being a fake was the final straw. I think it's an Antoria or a CSL that's had a gold Gibson logo screenprinted onto it - it has a bolt-on neck with a made in Japan neck plate. If that doesn't give it away!!

Anyway, I've reported it to ebay, but they've not removed it yet. If you're tempted (and you would be because a proper one of that age is worth £2.5 - £3k), don't bother.
11. Woo Another GK RIG! Im rockin the 2001RB and 410RBH! You gotta get another cab dude! :) What are the casters you're using? The GK ones are naff, lol.
It has an all tube pre-amp paired up with the same solid state power amp used in the 1001RB. It gets such tubey tones with the gain boosted, would highly recommend!
12. Hey Guys

I have this great Flanger pedal. However, i really only use Chorus. Does anyone have a decent Chorus pedal preferably an older Boss or Ibanez. I will consider most things!

I do not have the box for this pedal. Its probably older than me. Its not bad condition for its ages. Obviously it has a few scratches and chips. It is no way a museum piece, but needs to be gigged.

I can post pics if you want.

As a guide these pedals go for about £50-£90.

  13. This is the order i would recommend.

TU-2 (Un-effected signal to tuner) into ED-3 into ODB-3 into CEB-3 into Octave into Envelope into Delay.

As far as i am aware you should always have delays at the end of the chain. You could also try putting your modulation and delays through your FX loop. That often makes them sound much nicer! It's what i do!
Just having an ask to see what kind of order(s) that people use and find effective., i gave up using effects a few years ago prefering just the natural amp-guitar but .... there back out an im having lots of fun experimenting with them, moving them around etc.. the order that ive personaly found to be the most effective is from the guitar
    Tuner - (Boss TU-2).
    Compressor - (Marshall Edward ED-3).
    Overdrive - (Boss ODB-3).
    Delay - (Marshall EH-1).
Octave Devider - (Electro Harmonics Octave Multiplexer)
    Chorus - (Boss CEB-3)
    Envelope Filter - (Ashdown)
ive got them all on a homemade board powered by a 10-way power adaptor (of a no name brand that i found on eBay for £15 an does the job brilliatly).
The only pedal that im not happy with is the delay (marshall edward....) (im that happy with it that its no longer on the board), so what do others think ? there seems to be a lot of reviews out there of right an wrongs but at the end of the day im thinking that its down to personal tase/sound, after all one persons noise is anothers perfection!!
So any advances on that order greatfully appreceated.
