1. Aww that sucks dude. I know EXACTLY how you feel. Had to sell loads to get my 2001rb. But hey! I am already GAS'in for more stuff!
yep, it's definately a great amp - unfortunately i need to justify new purchases somehow and i really don't want to sell any of my other gear. you know how it is..
2. Bumpety Bump...
Im sure you guys know what this is. But here's the info from there site.

    Much more than just a direct box, the SansAmp Bass Driver DI is capable of dialing up big vintage tube tones, bright modern slap sounds, gnarly distortions, and all in between. Three different outputs to drive power amps, recording desks, PA mixers, or simply enhance your current rig. Controls include Presence for definition and upper harmonic content; Blend to combine the proportion of direct signal and SansAmp circuitry; and active EQ specifically tuned for bass with 12dB of cut or boost.

    Need money to fund my GK 2001RB!
3. Do you still have these available?
I had these taken off my CIJ 70s RI Precision.

    I have been lead to believe that they could be vintage 62 RI pickups, although they could also be standard Fender pickups.

    Either way, they are no use to me anymore as i have some new ones.

    They are in perfect working order and are in great condition.

    Looking for £15 plus a couple of quid for postage?

    Here's a pic of them still on my P.

    also, FYI, here is a thread discussing what they could be: Clickety Click...
5. Hey dude

    Glad to know you had a good experience with M B Music. The reason for my comment is because i actually work there, and dealt with your order including answering your emails when Martin (My Boss) was out the office.
Chaps,

    Just thought I would give praise to my most recent experience with a Bass store.

    I had been trawling for day's for a Lakland 44-01 in Natural finish to no avail all the shops had a nice longish waiting time, the cheapest I could find was £679 until I stumbled on MB Music who had what I wanted in stock it was £599 and I had the bass on my door step in 24 hours! Shops usually give you so much heartache that it was refreshing to see a seller be as good as his word!

    Well Done Martin at MB I will certainly go there again!

    Steve.

    Ps. The bass I bought is no longer showing as being in stock on their website - so they also update their records toot sweet too!

  6. I have a very good condition MXR M-108 10 Band EQ. Great pedal for solo boosts, slap sounds, overall EQ for pre amp etc etc. - £70 (Normally £100-£140)

    Also have a Boss BF-2 Flanger Pedal - Classic Model in a well gigged condition, but perfect working order. This is the famous Green Label version with the much desired "Made in Japan" label, probably late 80s. I would like £55 for this pedal.

    There is a newer "Made in Taiwan" version on Ebay for £50! Have a look on Ebay for the one i am selling. It is going between £60 and £109.

    Also my mate has a Nady 950 Wireless System as used by Slash and Steve Vai for sale. - Nady 950 on EBAY

  7. Hey Dave

    I have finished my rig, but when all wired up i have come across a minor setback. (I have included a picture of the rig below)

    Furman PL Plus II Power Conditioner - powers everything.
    Shure U4S Wireless > Korg DTR 2000 Tuner > Gallien Krueger 700RB-II
    FX Loop in GK - I run the Yamaha SPX90-II FX unit.

    I made all the relevant leads with Whirlwind cable, and Switchcraft 226 Jacks and have tested them all with my cable tester, all OK.

    The problem is with my Jazz Special passive basses, i can hear a slightled distorted (overtone?) when i slide my fingers up the strings, and there is quite a bit of background hum coming from the amp. I also have a OLP MM22 which has active electronics, and that sounds great and is fine. When i touch the metal linings of my rack cases the hum disappears. Everything is perfect when used on its own and not with the rack unit above.

    Do i need to some how, earth the top rack?

    Hope you can help!

    Thanks in advance

  8. How much you looking for this? PM me if prefered. Thanks
As I never stray more than 10 feet from my amp, I thought I would offer up my Samsung Synth 32 Wireless system.

    In excellent condition and full working order. As it's name implies, it provides 32 different operating frequencies within one of three bands. It has true diversity operation giving superb coverage up to a maximum range of 300 feet. The R32 receiver is half rack size so can easily be incorporated into a standard 19" rack. Comes complete with PSU, instruction manual and Rok Sak padded case.

    I'm on the lookout at the moment for a processor unit, preferably a Zoom B2.1u or a Boss ME50b and would consider a trade on either or will accept offers.

  9. Hey Guys

    A little help if you will...

    I have a Korg DTR-2000 tuner in my rack which is the first unit in my chain (Second if i use my wireless) i have purchased the suggested Korg Footswitch and it works, but it makes a loud "click" when pressed. This noise is louder when i turn up my amp.

    Has anyone had this before, is it a problem, or is it supposed to do this?

    My signal chain is as follows;

    Bass --->Wireless
    Wireless ---> Korg DTR-2000
    Korg DTR-2000 ---> Gallien Krueger 700RB-II
    Yamaha SPX-90 FX in GK FX Loop

    My whole rig is powered by a Phonic PPC9000E Power Conditioner.

    Any suggestions?

  10. Unfortunately i dont want the programmable one. Just the bog standard jobby.

    I have an MXR and love it.

    Is there a way out of this with a BDDI for sale and you wanting to buy this one?
