I am having to replace my Tascam BT1. I was simply going to get a BT2 and then noticed the GB-10. Has anyone got any thoughts on the pros and cons of these two pieces of kit?

To be fair to iiMusic I have had a pm from the boss of the main branch in Edinburgh who is a basschatter. He made profuse apologies and didn't try to offer any silly excuses. He has also taken steps to rectify the situation with the Aberdeen staff and so hopefully things will improve. So fair play to the guy for taking on board the criticism and doing something about it. I certainly hope things improve as we're a bit short of decent stores up here.

I was in iiMusic in Aberdeen with my son today. He had enquiried about a pedal a few weeks ago and they said they would phone him when they got it in. No phone call since so you can imagine his surprise when he saw the pedal in the shop today. However, still wanting to support his local shop he asked to try out the pedal. The shop guy said he couldn't as a guy was about to play an acoustic set in the shop. So here we are in a holiday weekend with the city heaving with folk - a retailers paradise. But this shop chooses to be a venue in the middle of the afternoon. Do they want to sell or not? I wonder when the 'closing down' sign will appear in the window. Needless to say the online route is now being considered.

I have one of these newer Jazz basses and they are superb. This one is in immaculate condition and has obviously been well looked after. The asking price is outstanding and surely attract someone who is looking for a Jazz.

Oh, I see now. The photos you have posted are not of the actual bass for sale by you. I understand now. Normally people post pics of the actual bass for sale.

I am just loving my newly acquired USA JB-2. Here she is in all her glory.

I have just received this luscious G&L USA JB-2. The flame maple top is just marvellous. It also plays and sounds superb.

Can you confirm that this is the same bass. I am curious as the bass is being offered by Musik Produktiv with its original case albeit at a higher price than you are asking here. Perhaps you could clear up the confusion.

Unfortunately Wizard are no longer in business so it's either the Wilkinsons or no doubt there will be plenty more bits of advice to follow.

I'm trying to find out what bass the guy with Morcheeba is playing. He appears with the bass briefly at about 1:18 into the clip. I can't read the name on the headstock but thought someone here would recognise the bass. Thanks!
