  1. Nice 👍 I’m now worrying about weight as I’ve got rather used to the Tonehammer
  2. Just found a crown ce1000 on evilbay is that the sort of thing? Ratings 250w per channel stereo 8 ohm 450w per channel stereo 4 ohm 900w bridged 8ohm 1100w bridged 4ohm it looks like it had a Hot input and a normal input too I’m guessing this is similar to the 1.4v 0.775 switch in the model gottastopbuyinggear mentioned. More power than I need but if I put my 4 ohm Barefaced 210 cab in one channel in stereo mode what will the result be ? I.E will a stereo output sound different? All that power might be handy when I (🤞) build a biggger rig. I’m imagining a 6x10 using 3 Barefaced 210’s (12 ohm mode of course) 😁
  3. Interesting, thanks for your input ! Sounds like a lot of power on the XLS 1002!
  4. So I’m looking for a power amp now I have a Tonehammer Di Preamp. So my question is what’s out there ? Single stage Power amps for Bass guitar amplification? so far I’ve found a thread where Jules amps were mention but they seem expensive and difficult to get hold of, also Bassics do a power amp less pricey but also I suspect difficult to get hold and I can’t find any reviews if there gear. Thougts please BC’ers
  5. Excellent Condition with bag and power cable. Photographed last week and tried to find a scratch on it to no avail! Brilliant lightweight head which I no Longer need as I have a Tonehammer DI pedal. Sale preferred but considering trades for 500+Watt heads with tube preamp and effects loop Collection from Wembley preferred but will post at buyers expense.
  6. They might be I took them from my revelation pj fretless
  7. No idea what brand these are but when I last used them they worked fine, would be good for someone working on a project or as replacements. Can only find 2 bushels (is that what they’re called?) at the mo.
  8. Fretless neck, looks like it’s started life as a fretted and been freed from those pesky metal bars ! This was on my upright banjo bass which was a project. It’s In need of some love and it’s gathering dust so a potential project for someone else to fix up. £10 plus p&p.
  9. Nice little mixer I used it to blend an acoustic and magnetic pickup whilst playing the upright banjo bass. No longer needed. Comes with a non-original box that’s actually a great fit.
  10. £10 a set plus postage daddarios have original box
  11. As part of my clearout I’m passing this on. I haven’t used it for 10 years! Please see my other posts for speaker leads, 51 pickup and strings.
  12. I’m not sure exactly what the problem is, the result is lots of unwanted noise. Martin at the Gallery tested it and said it was a little unstable.
  13. Speakon to 1/4” jack x2 GONE jack to jack x3 (3m/1.2m/3m) speakon to speakon (brand new 1.2m I believe) GONE
  14. 51 precision pickup from my CIJ reissue Replaced it with a Lindy Fralin split to reduce hum and because there’s a slight issue with the base plate coming away from the coil. This only effects playing if you directly touch or rest thumb on it. Good for vintage thumping! £25 plus postage or collection from Wembley
  15. Played a choc burst model at the gallery last year. Amazing
  16. Nice toes. Nice bass too
  17. Experienced across a range of styles, great gear and transport looking for paid gigs/work. London based
