I love Mark Korven's work for film scores. I've seen him live and it's incredible:

I'm not sure if Ministry would ever want to be classed as whacky but Jesus Built My Hotrod is edging towards that territory... and is fantastic. Puts a smile on my face every time.
I really wish Gibby had down more with Al and the Ministry/RevCo guys.

Currently listening to prayers being broadcast, from an Orthodox Church, across Addis Ababa...

Mouldy Old Dough by Lieutenant Pigeon, though mainly for the Coventry connection rather than its musical merits..!
Ah, it was number 1 on the day I was born in Coventry. Maybe I should give it a listen... -

Yeah, cut it off and replace it.
The only thing you'll lose is the use of the screw on adapter, which are pretty rubbish in my experience. I've had two fail and turn mono.
I also hope the tip isn't stuck in a socket somewhere, as that'll be a git to remove

New Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds single.
If this is typical for the album, it sounds like it's not going to be the Nick and Warren show of the last few. -

A track came on shuffle, while I was walking the dog. So I started the album from the beginning. I'd forgotten how good they were.
Also back when Later... was good

In an interview, Justin Chancellor says he switched from a Stingray to a Wal when he joined Tool and started to record the Aenima album. The weird thing is, the bass sounds on the demos for that album recorded with Justin's predecessor Paul D'Amour sound almost identical to me tone wise - and that was all Stingray.
D'amour playing his Ovation in early days also sounds like every Tool bass sound.

Back at the beginning of 1983, I was a little 10 year old, and a friend of the family gave me and my sister a cassette that we listened to endlessly. This morning the memory of this tape popped into my head, so this morning I'm revisiting it.

The new Pearl Jam album.
It's pretty damned good. One of their best in a long long time.
