  1. also grab your self a decent portable metronome if you dont already own one - i managed to pick up a yamaha blue one cant remember the module make but it comes in handy as you can change the keys, tempo and note values ..

  4. hi there have only just read this thread, whats going on with this issue atm ? with regarding sending him back the amp make it a recorded delivery so he will have to sign and put the date recieved down for it,
  5. well from my own experiance of running live music for a local pub the sound guy that we use, tends to Mic up the bassists own amp as he can get a better sound from it, he will only use his own Di box if there is no Di imput on the back of the bassists amp - and its also easier to manuliplate the sound thats coming into the Mix..
  6. apologies for not replying in such a while had forgotten my password and kept meaning to get it changed, cheers for all the info and advice, i didnt mean to mention about longview being the certain tune that i was going to play i should of mentioned that this was an example of tune that i was learning atm to start practising using a plecky on - also just wondering what tunes are a good choice for practising using a plecky on and also still trying to work out what tune i am going to play for my BMUS audition which i am going for in May... cheers sparky
  7. hey there guys longtime since i have posted on here, usually i play finger style but am going for my audition for a bmus degree and thought ill play something a bit harder than im used to and also a different type of technique than im used too .. the piece im fine with working out which is Longview by greenday whats throwing me atm is the fact that its using a plecky and since i tend to stay clear of these was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to use this technique, ways of practising or improving useing a plecky... cheers sparky

  10. the ear trainer that i have been using is ear master pro five, you can do a google search for it and it also comes with a 30 day trial period for use of the software, so far so good..

  12. hey guys just to let you know im back on the forum - quick question what should you do with a broken bass i mean to get rid of it also waiting on the new bass to turn up atk 300 series ibanez in sunburst !!!!
