1. I am looking for 6mm jack to jack speaker cable around 1 - 1.5m long. So far my searches have drawn a blank. I hate using normal 'guitar leads' for speaker connections.

So guys where do you buy your speaker cables from?

And yeah i know, I could make them myself, but rather buy :)

  2. I have a couple of DVDs either for sale or trade.

Billy Sheehan IMHO (In my Humble opinion): Billy Sheehan

Doug Wimbish, New dimensions for Bass: Doug Wimbish

Probably look for £10 each plus a few pounds postage, or other DVDs on Bass that you may have and I don't :)

  3. Hi all

I am sure we are all aware of Jaco, Marcus, Sheehan, Stanley etc etc...But I am looking for new material to learn from lesser known players, who have produced some great basslines. Been playing many years and know of many great player / lines, but always on the lookout for new stuff.

A recent addition was the Bass player from the Robben Ford band, Travis Carlton, son of Larry. When i heard him playing I was amazed i'd not heard of him before. Great feel and timing.

    Anyone have other 'great finds'
