Yeah had a quick play with it, and a run through with the guys in the band playing acoustic guitars. Comments were favourable...Warm, fat but still clear. I would keep it if I didin't have other gear to use.
See if you can find dealer in your area, so you can test it yourself. I'm now looking at trying out hydrive cabs to see how they compare to my 4x10XL cab.
Thanks for the BUMP ! -
Guys I have a brand new Hartke hydrive bass combo for possible sale.
I was given this as a present. I wanted a 115XL cab to go with my existing rig, but this came instead. I've had it for about 2 months. I had a cover made by my wife and then it has sat untouched in the lounge......I will get severe earache if it stays any longer.
So possible trade and cash or a straight cash sale, not sure yet. Make me an offer as my local guitar shop said they could not really offer me what is it worth. Totally unmarked.
This is the guy: http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...8&brandID=3
250 watts 1 x 15 + horn. Horn has a three way switch ( off - -3 and -6dB, I think ) Light and very loud. Warm sounding too. Manual and even the home made cover thrown in
Open to offers.
EDIT: High frequency attenuation switch (On, -6 dB, Off). Not as stated above -

I use an Ashdown perfect 10 for acoustic rehearsal. 30 watts and it has power to spare. £80 from Dolphin music I think it was. Bargain ! -
+3 more over here....Anyone still counting

The price please??? -
I have a Hydrive 115c. An unwanted present, wanted another cab for my rig but I got this instead. But I cannot complain, it was a gift after all.
This Hydrive sounds very loud, as I find most Hartke stuff does. The 15 has a very warm sound, and benefits from the 'switchable' horn. Only gigged it once as a test and I got a few very favourable comments on the sound. All in all a nice and light weight combo. -
Still no images

You have any pics of this cab, I'd like to see condition and wear on corners if possible.

It was built by Hugh Manson, Led zep and now John Paul Jones tech. He has a shop in Exeter and a workshop close by. Builds for Muse now too.

Very fast and friendly service. -
Ari purchased a pedal from me. Great communications, and swift payment, thanks.
I'd do business again with you Ari, no problem -
Please add me to the list. I'd like to read Guy Pratts book.

Yep great player.
I remember stitting mesmorised one day. I heard a live recording of wishbone ash playing on the radio, and Martin started playing this awesome solo. Alas this was many years ago, and I've never heard the recording again sadly. -
Please leave any feedback here, many thanks guys.
Kevin Wyatt was the bass player on Vibrator. Cass had already left TTD by then.
Ah right, thanks for the info....There's some great playing on that track. -
Anyone know if Cass was the bass player on TTD's Vibrator track? I seem to remember this track being transcribed in bass guitar magazine many moons ago. Would love a scan of it. Lost all the older copies of BGM some years ago.
Hope I've not started a RHCP war here guys.
Flea's always been good...He stated in in an interview that he often over played on older tracks and now tries to play less to leave room for a fill. Never picked up on them as a band until BSSM album. Almost everything I hear by them I like.
And I have $$$ waiting for a ticket to any Skunk gig -
WOW guys, what can I say? Many thanks for all this INFo, and so quick. What a great place this is.
Been a fan of his for a long time. I'd love to see him play again with Skunk Anansie -
He used to play in TTD and Skunk Anansie, and I remember him doing a bit with Gary Moore a while back, as probably most will know...
Anyone know where he is now, and what he's up to? What gear he used or is using? Any links? Anything really would be good.

Really would like to try this out on my 3500, just to see how it affects things. Anyone know what the valve is? A 12AX7?
So a EHX equivalent would be? Can any damage be done when changing preamp valves like this?
Thanks and sorry for the hijack
