Yeah it is a strange thing, pre 80's Fenders are collectable objects. If you can, get some pictures up so others can make a more informed judgement but I reckon you could achieve somewhere in the region of that figure if the right buyer came along.

Somewhere in the region of £800 - £1,000 depending on condition, modifications etc.

I play Precisions with a LM2, its a great amp. I don't bother putting anything in front of it and I can get a great old school tone out of it.

My old band used to support them loads in Brighton a fair few years ago and they more often than not kipped around our flat after the shows. Always remember one occasion where both the brothers slept in our singers bed, they had a bottle of whiskey and were trying to contact aliens with a laptop! Good times.

Don't torture yourself with it, enjoy the memories and press on. May not be as good now as you remember anyway. Sounds like you're getting priorities sorted with mortgage etc, believe me things like that will matter more in the long run! If you keep playing, you'll find something bandwise that gives the old goose bumps again. I love to reminisce about the past punk band that I was in, and it was immense but I couldn't live like that anymore
