  1. Cheers, loving that Sadowsky P/J of yours mmmm. The white P is a 75/76, nice and light, had a paint job and refret at The Gallery, plays with rounds at the moment and has a set of Wizard trads. Plays and sounds awesome. Black P is a 78, swamp ash, weighs just under 8 pounds, donning some Labellas at the moment, some and plays great. Those 78 pickups are pretty hot. The Jazz is an 87 Korean Squier which ive owned from new, its been toured without even a gig bag, slung in the back of the van and is still going strong, brilliant bass. The butterscotch P was a back up and is long gone. All sound fab through that rig.

  2. After years of hauling around an SVT and various Peavey monsters I too had to have a hernia (the lower one) operation. For my gigging purposes I got a LMII and Schroeder 1212L. Incredibly lightweight for the sound you get. I mainly play 70's P basses and a Squire Jazz through the rig and I can get it sounding thick and dirty as you like. I really recommend this set up as do others around here.

Man, I hope you're making some money out of that shot. I use photo libraries every day at work and always scam through the 'guitar' section. Nothing this good. Get yourself published!

Classic stuff. Was watching Censorship Stripper from The Tube the other day. Fantastic band, remember trying to emulate your basslines as a 14 year old and obviously failing miserably.

  5. If you listen closely to 'There Is A Light', you'll notice at least three bass fluffs. His main influence back in the day was Mark King apparently! ALways remember trying to get his P bass sound out of my Marlin Sidewinder when I was a lad. The man's a legend.
