1.
5. With every pedal on and actually doing something audible to the signal you should get a musically usable sound where the tune being played can still be recognised and simply a cacophonous swirl or echoes and feedback.
Do you get a useable tone when you turn on all your pedals? Well, I've actually got a woolly mammoth, an OD, a BMS and a wah, so for me it's yes, but I think that each pedal should have it's purpose, and not just be contributing towards a sound. Each should be usable on it's own, and should sound damn good!

  2.
Cheers for the help guys, I think I may just try the Big Muff just to see if it is any good (but from the feedback...it may be completly opposite), so Ill just have to hang about and wait for the bass big muff to appear in GAK in Brighton.

    Cheers,

I'm pretty sure you can order them in to GAK - just ask one of the guyus that lookis as though he knows what he's doing.

  3. I did sir duke and (not sure about specifics) overall, including test and everything got a B. but that was very rushed! I'd reccommend something like jamiroquai - not all examiners like rock music and muse, etc. I find that there is not a single soul on the planet that does not like funk. :)

  4. A bit of an old quote, but...
Used an Ashdown for the first time in ages and ages at a gig yesterday and remembered why I don't use them, next gig back to the Ampeg.
Is that because you use ampeg maybe? They're very expensive for a very good reason

(dont forget the average age of people here)

Good idea, but half of me looks forward to the day when my bass is all battered up and has chips in it and everything.

The other half has bought 4 of these - 2 for each bass in case one gets worn out half way through a gig. :)
