This is in perfect nick,,,, but the strings are in bad shape,,its a genuine sale,,, will add some pics,,straight sale before new strings, clean etc would be £550

which would do him a favour and get you a bargain......cheers for looking,

Sure that John Chambers must have been mentioned loads of times,,, however if you need any advice he is a great guy,,, and a fascinating website.

  4. One of my favorite pieces of kit is the Peavey Firebass,, this one has done countless gigs,, however it had a hic-cup a couple of months ago,, cleaned it out,,, pretty dusty,, and it behaved fine for a month or so,,,,, then one fatefull gig,, she just refused to power up,,, and bizzarly dosnt have the obvious fuse to check !!

Any ideas guys?? obviously prepared to have her professionally repaired,, just curious to get your views ,opinions.....she has been officially retired from "the road"

  5. Thats good to know wazoo,,,, its an awesome looking beast,, and screams quality to me.

I saw Uncle Albert play live a couple of years ago,, and on the guitar version he seemed to have a lot of neck dive and was constantly re-adjusting his guitar,, thought at the time they may have balance issues...

Its a bloody fantastic looking thing,,,, awesome.....

  8.
Fairly simple. You want to give your FOH engineer a Pre-EQ DI out that they can fiddle with for main PA duty. They make a good judgement on what you should sound like, with your input as well if you sort it during soundcheck. Then fiddle with your amp to your hearts content, to get an onstage monitoring sound that you prefer. Don't have bass in your foldback/wedge at all so you're just getting the bass sound onstage that you want.
9. Sure its not the heat ???,,, had exactly the same problem yesterday,,,line check only,,,all ok....occasional buzz in couple of songs,, then,,,,, silence...

Everything else plugged into the extension was fine,,,,,, ripped out the DI out the amp,,, went straight DI through the floor pedal,,, engineer turned up the bass in the monitor,,,,,,, survived the gig,,,,,,feck it was hot in there,,,, and the 5 hours in the van didnt help...its now working A1 again,,, which worries the hell out of me..........top of the head suggestion was thermal cut out ???,, never had problem with this amp before,,, and its done a lot of work.....dunno......fingers crossed really,,, cos if lose faith in a piece of road gear,,it will end up in the garage !!

    :)
