  1. Hi All!

I recently got this immaculate, and when I say immaculate I mean immaculate, Roger Waters P Bass in a trade for my BB1024x.

As fantastic as this bass, it's incredibly well setup, plays like a dream and sounds pretty epic I have found I need a 5 string bass as the bands I am are gonna need me to do stuff lower than we normally do and so I need an extended lower end.

If the scales are to be believed this is ridiculously yet comfortably light at 8lbs or 3.63kgs.

So here it is up for trade once again I am looking in particular for G&L (tribute + cash my way or a US model) Stingray 5 (SBMM or EBMM) preferably with a maple fretboard and natural finish or black finish. At a push I'd take a BB1025/x :-).

I have valued this at £600 for trade purposes as it comes with a rather spiffing Fender hardcase, Babicz full contact bridge, all case candy and original BBOT bridge... Did I mention it was immaculate ;-)?!

    Any questions please ask away.

    Regards

    Tim

  2. Hi all.

    I am putting up my bitsa P Bass, I got it in trade some time ago for a bass cab I had and I've recently changed the body on it... Anyway here's a breakdown of the parts and as you will see that there is some real quality here;

It's got a Mighty Mite Neck sits somewhere between a Jazz & P Profile with a 70's Decal on.

An Aguilar 60's Pickup with white casing

    KiOgon Wiring Loom

    Badass II Bridge

Black 3 ply pick guard and Black Body.

It weighs in at a whopping.... 5.9kgs or 13lbs if you're old school.

Professionally setup and currently sporting some DR Hi Beams in White.

I am open to offers and will be including postage in the above price. £300 seems reasonable but again please don't hesitate to make me an offer.

    Regards

    Tim

  3. Hello!

I have got for sale my bass big muff, with original box.

I bought this about 6-7 months ago and it's never even been out of the box.

I got it s/h and it was used previously and there are some incredibly light use marks.

I paid £45 for it back then, I would like £35 posted.

    Regards

  4. Here is my Farida Bass body.

It looks like it is 3 piece solid ash body in superb condition. It has a 15mm depth and 65mm width at the pocket.

It was part of a bitsa P I got in trade some time ago, however I have gone all black basses at the moment so have subsequently changed the body.

It will come with 3 matching pickguards; white, black and mirror.

I am after £50 for the lot posted to your front door.

    Any question please ask.

    Regards

  5. Well hello again all.

Here we have my Fretless Jazz bass for sale. Brilliant condition, Stunning action, amazing tone, nice balanced weight at 6.35kgs and a really flexible bass all in all.

It started out it's life as a Squire Jazz bass and between myself & it's previous owner it has undergone some very worthwhile upgrades.

    1. Decal has been removed and replaced with a period correct Fender 62 Jazz Bass Decal, there is no evidence at all that this was a Squire with no shadowing underneath.

    2. Gotoh bridge... I think this is pretty self explanatory

    3. Kiogon wiring loom again pretty self explanatory

    4. Full de-fret and beautiful bits of flame maple in the fret lines, this was professionally done by my luthier Matt Cooil and an absolute stunning job it is too.

    5. Pickups upgraded to Sadowsky Noiseless Passive pickups, really helps bring out that mwah sound and then some again installed by Matt Cooil. Yes I still have the originals.

    6. Tuners have been replaced with Schallers again Matt, no longer have the stock ones sorry

    7. Pickguard upgraded from stock plastic guard to full anodised gold guard to give it more of a unique look.

All in all a hell of a lot of bass, that has been significantly upgraded from what was a fretted squire jazz and converted to an absolutely cracking Fretless.

Taking into account everything that has occurred, parts and work etc I think £250 with padded gigbag posted from Saltney is imho very reasonable.

But please contact me with any questions, queries or negotiations and I'll be more than happy to answer.

    Regards

    Tim

    what does it weigh please?
    [/quote]

It sits between 9 & 9.5lbs which in Kilos terms is 4 to 4.3kgs. I have checked by the 110% accurate method of bathroom scales.

  7. Hi all!

With much reluctance and trepidation I am putting up my BB1024x in Caramel Brown!

This is the second one I had, only selling the other because this was my preferred colour.

The bass is truly amazing and one of the most versatile beasts I've ever owned, it looks the part and sounds the part too! You can pretty much get any rock sound you want out of this and it'll just ooze it and then some!

If I like it so much why am I getting rid?

    A number of reasons....

    1) I have got a massive hankering for a 70's reissue MIJ/CIJ jazz Bass or P Bass
    2) I have got a house move imminent and could do with the money before I buy another bass

So I am pretty firm on cash price of £500 as this rather unusually has the matching Yamaha Hiscox hard case which is normally reserved for that famed big brother the 2024 and the bass really is in superb condition! However if you have either or the above basses.... Preferably in natural or Olympic white or A Lakland Bob Glaub with a maple P neck... I am very open to discussing trades.

Just to be clear I am not in a rush to sell just getting a feel if I'm honest but if the right thing comes along you know the score...

Forgot to say live in Saltney just outside of Chester and I am more than happy to courier this anywhere in the UK

Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions.

    Regards

    Tim

  8. Hi guys

Got various bits & bobs up for sale here that are in excellent condition but are not needed.

    So let me begin:

    1. Squire Jazz Bass pickups - this came with a burgundy mist squire I got in trade for a bass a while back, subsequently I changed these out for some Sadowsky Passives for my fretless project. Great sounding stock pickups. £10 for the pair posted.

    2. Squire Tuners - came off same bass which I subsequently changed for Schallers. Fully functional
    And look superb. SOLD

    3. Boss PSA-230ES multi power supply - got this as part of a job lot with the board below with some effects that I wanted. SOLD

    4. Boss BCB30 pedal board - as above, will hold 3 boss size pedals but alas won't get used. Got the power 3 way power link thingymebob & one patch cable £15 posted.

    5. Squire VM Jazz Neck - this was to be used on a project many many moons back that didn't come to fruition. The headstock has been sanded and had a Fender Decal put on it to give it a more vintage 70's look. A couple of surface scratches but nothing that effect playability. SOLD

    Any questions please ask away.

  9. Martin just bought a LM3 from me.

Want to say an absolute gent to deal with & really welcoming into his home.

I'll stop for a brew next time.

    Enjoy the amp!

  10. Got this wonderful little bass head in a recent trade with one of my friends at home for my Ashdown Combo, however I have no need for it as I've recently purchased a TC RH750.

It's in excellent condition apart from a wee bit of paint coming off on the top on one of the corners (photo attached), comes complete with the rack ears, instruction manual and its original box perfect for shipping.

    Technical blurb found here: http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=99

    Pictures attached

£300 shipped to your front door!

    Any questions please fire away!

    Thanks

    Tim

  11. Hi All!

A very reluctant sale but needs must.

I am putting up Ashdown ABM C210H - 500 evo III 15th Anniversary Combo & Ashdown FS4 footswitch.

These are an extremely limited edition being one of only 20 in the world.

They were all handcrafted in the UK at the Custom Shop and are really excellent pieces of engineering & surprisingly lightweight for a combo at a whopping 30kgs making it not only earth shakingly loud but exceedingly portable.

This has been my main gigging amp for the last 12 months and I am sorely going to miss it but need to raise some funds to make way for new rig.

You cannot get hold of these brand new anymore and they don't come up very often as you may well have guessed. The cheapest I can find it online and where it's out of stock and been discontinued shows a price of £649 which is down from £999, so these were expensive little amps.

Taking into account it has been used and has a few marks and scuffs on the tolex I am asking for £400 ONO and I am happy to ship with the footswitch and manual etc.

    Photos to follow....

Here's some technical blurb from GAK about the amp:

    http://www.gak.co.uk/en/ashdown-abm-c210h-500-evo-iii-combo-ltd.-edition/76759

    Any questions just ask.

    Regards

    Tim
