It should be an issue making it four bolt should it ? Worst case plugging the existing holes nearest the fretboard ?
Im not bothered about the microtilt

Lol 😆
Note to prospective buyers, the bridge is not made from a naughty donkey

PRICE: £1000
I bought this as a backup for my Geddy Lee, however it’s gathering dust and not earning its keep so now must go !
Excellent condition bar normal marks from being used and a small lacquer chip on the headstock that hasn’t dented the wood. Neck pocket is nice and tight. Fretwork is spot on, no fret wear
Its currently fitted with a Bad A$$ II bridge but I have the original still. All the metal work is included as is case case candy and hang tags. G&G case in good condition also.
No trades sorry !
Im in Chester, UK.

Despite me completely forgetting that Francis was travelling up to collect some Tanoy speakers from me, and Francis having to deal with my flustered partner and two frenzied young children, he remained calm and polite throughout.
Many thanks for your understanding Francis and apologies for my brain !
Deal with confidence !

Very lite body apparently

I asked Mark which kind of necks he can offer. In terms of Jazzbass there is only one he can apply. It is standard Jazzbass width of 1.5" (38.1mm) on the nut. The profile of mine is much closer to an oval C-Shape than tp an U- or a modern C-Shape. I really like thin and slim necks like the Geddy Lee or the Squier Classic Vibe 60s ones.
They are All Parts necks I believe.

I need that Olympic White Jazz in my life 😉

I took my GS Mini back after a couple of months from new to have the action and one fret buzz sorted so they aren’t exactly perfect out if the box every time. Unless the neck relief/ truss rod is not set up good then it must be a high nut or high bridge needs sorting?
Nut looks ok tbh, so hopefully it’s just the bridge that needs a shave
-
That’s what I thought. You should struggle to get a pound coin under it based on their specs.
Might just be a high saddle I guess, hopefully it’s not that the neck angle is on the lash
The perils of buying blind!
-
That’s a £1 coin btw

I know this is somewhat subjective, but the action looks (and feels) way high on this.
Anything other than the cowboy chords seems really hard work.
What does the panel think ? Action at nut seems ok, relief is fine, and neck angle to my limited knowledge looks about right.
Intonation is off also on the low E and A strings, which would be a symptom of high action yes ?
A slight disclaimer though is that I haven’t played guitar in years, and especially not an acoustic, if this is normal I’m giving up now lol !

It took me years to finally part with my 70's 4001. I loved and hated it in equal measure. When I did eventually sell it, all I experienced was a great sense of relief. Like that crazy nutty erotic girlfriend that you know is no good for you but still you hang on for the ride.
Oh gosh, that is so true re the girlfriend lmao !
-
I can’t sell it, and I really can’t justify why.
I was considering using it as a backup for live stuff, but the AVRI Jazz I have is night and day better.
It cost me less than a decent Mexican Jazz does now, so I’ll just keep hold of it and occasionaly curse at it taking up space until the kids grow up.
Is I really like the colour a good enough reason ?!
-
I know. It’s a dangerous state to be in here 😉

Nearly 2.5k for a mass produced guitar seems insane to me, but if you can justify it why not !

It needs the nut doing also as it’s not got any slots on it, so I’ll probably get someone who does this sort of thing for a living to sort it.
I’m over the moon about getting one (at a really very good price), the world is now my lobster 😉
