Hi fellow lowenders, I’ve sold (pending) the baritone guitar I’m advertising here to a Texan.
I’ve never shipped an instrument abroad and feel aprehensive… I’m sure this has been covered before so wod appreciate any links to previous discussions and any updates,
Thanks in advance

Thanks.
Unfortunately that's too narrow at the nut for me. I'm looking for a distance of at least 40mm from the centre of the lower sting to that of the highest. 35mm is the same as my Squier Bass VI which I find borderline unplayable. I'll most likely end up with a second Eastwood Hooky.
Cool no probs

That looks interesting but the scale length and pickup placement say more "Bass VI" than Baritone to me. What tuning have you been using on this?
I might be interested. Can you let me know the following measurements:
1. Width of the neck at the nut
2. Distance between the highest and lowest strings at the nut
3. Distance between the highest and lowest strings at the bridge
Thanks!
Here they are:2 - nut: 3.5 cm
3 - bridge: 5.3 cm

Apologies I was responding to your offer to try not looking to buy right now
No need to apologise and sure you’re welcome to try no probs
BTW when measuring the string spacing, do you do it from the inside, outside or middle?

I read the first one.
It's a bit odd. I think Vic's a bit of a hippy!
Sounds good, me too!

I was curious so I searched online and found a few listings. One stated 30.5", one says 31" and another said 32"...
Maybe time to break out the tape measure?
It's a beautiful guitar whatever the scale!
Thanks for looking and info.
I’ll have to measure it - I suppose it’s measured from neck to nut

For sale DeArmond by Guild Bajo-Jet six string baritone guitar. This very rare guitar features a set of USA made DeArmond single coil 2k pickups, 32" scale set and bound neck, volume & tone knobs, and pickup selection switches. This guitar is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches. It has a beautiful finish. Included with this guitar is the original gig bag.
DeArmond Bajo Jet Baritone. This mint example is most likely about 18 or 20 years old but looks like it has never been played in anger. Has the coolest trans green finish and three USA DeArmond pickups. This run was produced by Fender (in Korea) in the late 90`s - and never caught on. Now they are becoming collectable. Has 32" scale bound edge neck. The quality of build on these 90`s DeArmonds is second to none. Comes in great condition hard case.
The pickups are the original DeArmond Dynasonic/2K reissues with an innovative switching system. One of the 3-way toggles selects Bridge/Bridge+Neck/Neck and the other 3-way toggle controls the middle pickup Off/In Phase/Out Of Phase. Everything works and sounds great with lots of cool and usable sounds on tap. Watch the demo video below for all of the available pickup combinations.
You can read more and watch a video of similar (black model) guitar on this gearpage thread here:

Hi all, have been away for a while and getting back into playing and buying/selling gear.
I have a baritone guitar I'm looking at selling and a few other bits (pedals, etc). Can somebody please remind me/refer me to sales rules? Can't remember if fees are due and how much and how are they paid if applicable.
any other tips, hints would be appreciated. I assume it's ok to list baritone guitar with basses for sale... please do correct me if I'm wrong

Thanks for all your comments and tips. I wonder if anybody has some practical packing advice (or can signpost to good site or guide) and can recommend what couriers might be best to use (and avoid)
