oh my god, just had a listen to serendipity by Tal Wilkinfeld - blew me away! there was so much to it, i cant even comprehend how she came up with that!
fair point, i havnt heard of any of those! except squarepusher, who i love a true great british bassist
thats why this is great, you get to learn about so many players that you wouldnt normally come across
i use a bright green dimarzio locking strap on my LTD, its not that comfy but does the job and can take some force
use a nice soft strap on the ibanez with schaller strap locks
Hi everyone, my names Allistair (not randy marsh thats from southpark) i live in Crewe, its terrible but playing the bass and checking out the low end of life keeps me happy. Just thought id say hello and hope that i shall be here for a while
My preference are the Elites Lights, but my question is does anyone have coloured strings on their bass?
Any advantages other than they look cool? whats the life on them like?
Also what are the best strings in your opinion??
i played through one in a gear shop once and my god it was sweet!
I would kill to own a nice Mark bass setup, the only problem is why do they cost SO much more than others? especially the cabs as i think that Eden cabs are probably better, but thats just my opinion
Hi guys, im currently using a Line6 Lowdown 300 Pro
however this just isnt cutting it live and i think i need to branch out into a head and a cab
Also i have an emg mmtw pickup on my bass, so im after the musicman kind of tone which the Line 6 doesnt deliver...
tldr - should i upgrade to a head and cab? looking at an Ampeg BR head (not too expensive gear basically)
a Stagg bc300 bought it to get in a band with a girl i like lol
still have the bass now, its so awful! second bass was an ibanez SRX350NT which is still really nice to play
