Have you checked the wanted ads? Pretty sure there were a couple of seekers.
Many thanks. Will do!

Up for sale is my Noble Preamp.
great condition, and will be missed. I bought this from @walshy last year. Only used in my studio space. Need to move it on to free up some cash.
Comes with all the power cables and will also include 18v adapter I bought direct from Noble for my Origin Bass Compressor.
not looking for trades unless you have a BassRIG black panel - Collection welcome (Linton, near Cambridge) or can arrange special delivery postage. Happy to take PP goods and services if you cover the fees or bank transfer / PayPal gift.
Any question please ask. Price is firm as I want to get back what I paid. Have good feedback on here for sales and also TheFretboard and Elektronauts

My favourite compressor this… you must have bought something very expensive and shiny Bruce 😂
lol. Went back to an Origin Cali76 compact. No doubt I’ll be selling that in 3 months time and buying an empress again 🤣

I've had good experiences with Peach. In fact I wouldn't buy from a shop that allowed walk ins. A bass that has been played by umpteen people is not a new instrument, it is a demonstrator/ex display/used, and should be priced accordingly. If I am going to pay new price, I want a new instrument.
I think John even mentioned this about being one reason for going appointment only. Honestly, I thought it was BS, I couldn’t imagine anyone having an issue with a guitar off a shelf being seen as “used”. Guess I was wrong! Interesting to hear this opinion.- 2

Love these. Great on guitar and great on bass

That's not how it works - once you're in, you can look round the shop and try what you like. If you do have something in mind beforehand, they'll get it ready for you. Last time I bought a guitar from them, they let me try it in a separate room so other customers making noise wasn't an issue.
That's great to hear!

Peach used to be at Blake House Craft centre at Blake End, between Dunmow and Rayne. Then moved to the massive warehouse on Severalls Industrial Park.
They were open to walk ins up until Covid. The Guitar theft was pre Covid, in 2018!
I'm really in two minds about the appointment system - On one hand, I've been to get strings or a pedal and come out with a Guitar 😬
On the other, I've been into a shop to try a guitar and not been able to get to hear it properly due to loads of customers being in store doing the same thing.
I've certainly gone in a number of times to look at a specific guitar, only to come out with something completely different, that I'd only tried as I could walk around and just have a go. That will never happen for me, if appointments are based on giving them a list of instruments you want to try.
I was in Coda trying a Custom Shop Strat a while back. Two kids, maybe 14-15 were both playing through amps, together, running through Reign In Blood as best they could. Now there was no way I could hear what I was playing, no way anyone else in the shop could either. But man, they had fun. It was great to see tbh. Brought back many memories of visiting shops with no way of being able to afford anything at the time. The lads walked out, bought some picks and went on their merry way. I've also been in there when a really young kid came in with his dad to try a guitar out - The guy on the floor plugged him into a Two Rock and let him at it. Those times will stick in their heads and keep them coming back, one day, hopefully, to buy a guitar and not just some picks etc.
I feel peach would be damned if they did and damned if they didnt. But I do miss just saying "f*** it, I'm off to Peach"
I'll drop them an email once Namm has finished and see if I can go and browse some acoustics. Would be good to see John again as it's been a while.

They moved to appointment only after Covid.
have to say, it’s put me off unfortunately. And I’ve shopped there for at least 25 years, probably more (way back to when they had the tiny shop outside of Dunmow).
but it’s good to hear you can still browse when you get an appointment. I’d sort of assumed you had to pick what you wanted to see before you got there.
been a great shop though, will have to message them and see what’s what.

wow! Well on the plus side, it should be easy to strip!
I'd vote to strip and see what the woods like and go from there.

Little bump and price drop to £275 posted.

Mine doesn’t bother me, but I used to wear a flat ring and that caused me issues. Now I have a curved ring that’s curved profile on both outside and inside face and feels much better and seems to get out of the way.

I’ve got the same amp, no odd noise issues and I have a dimmer still in this room, though only ever on full I guess. Also the switch is solid unlike how you describe. It’s been faultless, sounds great too. I’m moving mine on, but only as I’ve got a Baby Sumo on the way to use with my preamp of choice - seems overkill to just use the power amp side - otherwise it would stay!

seems like this pedal has great reviews.. curious as to why you want to sell?
Bought a different preamp pedal, and don’t need two.

You should try a Jule Simone. Very impressive sound and feature set!
It’s been on my radar, but never one for sale when I’ve looked. If for some strange reason the Noble doesn’t do it for me, I’ll look out for one

I hope you'll love the Noble! I sold mine as, though it was subtly impressive with passive basses, I couldn't really find a use for it with actives (and I play the latter almost exclusively). The Noble is a very nicely designed and built unit that just reeks of quality and prestige. Back on topic, I have no use for the Caveman (I have a Millennia that I'm pretty sure does much the same thing) but I have an inexplicable desire to acquire it.
Well fingers crossed for me then as I only play passive 🤣
I dont know the Millennia, but the Caveman has been fantastic. Really great feel to it, and its only as a Noble came up that I'd even consider moving this on. When I did have an active bass, it worked well with that too!
