I really like the look of this bass and the unique finish. If my CS Jazz needs were not already satisfied I’d be struggling to resist this!

I’m trying to imagine what bass has caught your eye that means you are looking to sell it! 😁

It’s a great bass that I’ll inevitably miss and regret selling, but, I want another short scale 🤷🏻‍♂️. Plus I’ve had two recent acoustic guitar purchases that weren’t cheep 😬

  3. Immaculate, boxed, instructions, Velcro discs, usb cable. Unused genuine TE field bag.

It’s a recent purchase but other shiny things are calling.

£1420 delivered special delivery (price assumes PayPal gift or bank transfer or plus fees).

Only possible trades are a vermona Perfourmer mk2. But really prefer a straight sale as incoming acoustic guitar and possibly a new Bass. Feel free to ask though.

  4. VANDERKLEY 112MNT For sale. 8ohm

I bought it used from Bassbros. all in good used condition with no issues. Carpet finish is a little fluffy in places but think that could be sorted with a carpet fluff removal tool (just ordered one, will be here Monday and I’ll update picks). Comes with its fitted soft cover.

im not sure I have a box for this but will check. If I do I’ll look at postage costs and add here. Pick up preferred though.

any questions, let me know. Thanks.

EDIT - now £450 - fluff removed, will photo this weekend. I think I’ve found a box too but need to check the size this weekend also. Postage would be extra.

You may well be confusing the OP who is talking about measurement from the last fret (20th), no idea why they're talking last fret. So for the OP measurements are generally taken from 12th fret, not the last fret.

it’s funny as I’ve been a guitarist for 30 years and only took bass up over the last two. All guitar measurement for action are 99.9% taken from the 12th fret, yet for Bass, I’ve come across the use of the last fret so often. Always confused me tbh. Always wondered why. guess Fender themselves using the last fret is where it’s come from?

thank you, yes I have already seen that.

What would help is if I had a brain! I just measured the relief again(corrrectly this time though!) and I am getting around 2,5mm. Still much too high for my liking though.

My go to bass is a '87 JD Thumb which plays like a dream with an action of no more 1,5mm across all the strings.

so are you running out of adjustment in the saddle screws, or getting too much buzzing to need that action height?
