SOLD!
Yay!
if you edit the tile and add “sold” it auto closes the thread. If only the fretboard did that!!
hope all is well mate

I keep coming back to this. Have a bump for a lovely looking J.
Many thanks. It really is a lovely thing and photos don’t do it justice. It looked like it had sold, but the guys gone quiet now so currently still for sale.

I really like the look of this bass and the unique finish. If my CS Jazz needs were not already satisfied I’d be struggling to resist this!
I’m trying to imagine what bass has caught your eye that means you are looking to sell it! 😁
It’s a great bass that I’ll inevitably miss and regret selling, but, I want another short scale 🤷🏻♂️. Plus I’ve had two recent acoustic guitar purchases that weren’t cheep 😬.-

Immaculate, boxed, instructions, Velcro discs, usb cable. Unused genuine TE field bag.
It’s a recent purchase but other shiny things are calling.
£1420 delivered special delivery (price assumes PayPal gift or bank transfer or plus fees).
Only possible trades are a vermona Perfourmer mk2. But really prefer a straight sale as incoming acoustic guitar and possibly a new Bass. Feel free to ask though.

VANDERKLEY 112MNT For sale. 8ohm
I bought it used from Bassbros. all in good used condition with no issues. Carpet finish is a little fluffy in places but think that could be sorted with a carpet fluff removal tool (just ordered one, will be here Monday and I’ll update picks). Comes with its fitted soft cover.
im not sure I have a box for this but will check. If I do I’ll look at postage costs and add here. Pick up preferred though.
any questions, let me know. Thanks.
EDIT - now £450 - fluff removed, will photo this weekend. I think I’ve found a box too but need to check the size this weekend also. Postage would be extra.

If you get vaguely closer to Cambridge at some point, please give me a shout as I’d be interested in this. Just can’t get the time to get to HW. Cheers.

Hi there.
if this has the newer 'OptoKick' Optical Foot switches, I’ll take it please. Photo would be good to confirm this and condition.
cheers

Still for sale?

neunaber iconoclast Might be worth looking at. Can get quite deep with the editor and the eq curve responds to dynamics.

It’s saying they’re too big, when I havent had any problems in the past. Is there a limit you reach and you have to delete some from past posts?
Go to “account” > “my attachments” and then delete some of those, assuming that’s the issue.

Ok, going to keep this and sell the Jazz. This really suits me better and it doesn’t owe me so much. Now withdrawn.

You may well be confusing the OP who is talking about measurement from the last fret (20th), no idea why they're talking last fret. So for the OP measurements are generally taken from 12th fret, not the last fret.
it’s funny as I’ve been a guitarist for 30 years and only took bass up over the last two. All guitar measurement for action are 99.9% taken from the 12th fret, yet for Bass, I’ve come across the use of the last fret so often. Always confused me tbh. Always wondered why. guess Fender themselves using the last fret is where it’s come from? -

thank you, yes I have already seen that.
What would help is if I had a brain! I just measured the relief again(corrrectly this time though!) and I am getting around 2,5mm. Still much too high for my liking though.
My go to bass is a '87 JD Thumb which plays like a dream with an action of no more 1,5mm across all the strings.
so are you running out of adjustment in the saddle screws, or getting too much buzzing to need that action height? -
This may help, though I’m sure you’ve already seen it

managed to get a squire up to a custom shop to easily meet these specs with no issues personally.
maybe photos would help people troubleshoot for you? And also always good to know how and where you’re measuring your specs

Many thanks. I did message him but no reply so guess he’s all sorted. Cheers though!

Just spray some of this into them. You need to spray it into the bottom of it, not from above (in the little slot I’ve marked here and then turn the pot a few times) -
