I have the exact 2 cabs ( 500w versions). i stack them upright ( I put extra feet on the sides) and that places the head at the perfect height. They are great and really do move some air with an ABM500 running into them ( other 500 watt amp’s are available) ✌️ -
Mate. Thanks for that. I was looking at the 624s as my room won’t be the biggest but these were a bargain and they have the switches to reduce bass so I bought them. The guy’s owned them from new. Said he paid £700 each. They’re the original USA versions. ✌️

I suggested to them they make the ABM pre in pedal form just like the other pre pedals they have. Don’t think it’s an option. I think they’d sell loads of them.

Yes it’s great amp. I had the ABM500 Evo 1 and now the Evo 2. Love the Ashdown tone.

I’m guessing it will rely on processing power. HX stomp/XL and One might miss out..

I thought the HX allowed the same level of access? Ie, any parameter can be controlled by an expression pedal?

Yeah got that. It’s a lot to spend on an only effects processor though. You’re well into brand new HX territory there.

Says he no longer does them as the platform is unreliable. I’m guessing it’s marginal gains, and sending players with have moved into the Helix if audio quality is that important.

Yeah I plan on using an expression pedal. You can control pretty much any parameter as I understand it.
