2. BUMP! The DB750 is phenomenal. By far, the best amp i've ever used. When funds allow, I will buy another without hesitation. Amazing.
3. Cheers Loz! Definitely is a bargain.. I could be a cheeky bugger and put it up for more, but this is how much I have in it, when I bought it from Ville. I've had my fair share of bargains on BassChat, so it's only fair Cheers Ville!! Gutted it's up for sale. I must be mad.. It is absolutely incredible!
4. How is this still for sale? Guys, it's a fantastic piece of kit. The workmanship is phenomenal, the flamed facings are divine!! Happy memories!
5. Hey Papa! Thanks for the post. I'm afraid i'm only selling it to raise funds. Although I have always wanted a Warwick Thumb. I love the Skjold, so would keep it if I didn't need the cash to repair my bass trombone. So, sorry.. Cash Sale Only! Many thanks guys, please pm with any interested! Matt (I still have the box for shipping)
6. Hi guys, As you may have seen in my other for sale thread for the Skjold Bass, i'm currently having to sell some gear, as my Edwards bass trombone needs some repair work, and need the money to fund it. These are just a FEELER, as I love both amps, and may not neccesarily have to sell them yet. I have two Aguilar amps, and am flexible about which to use. Each is incredibly good! I swear by Aguilar gear, it really is the best stuff i've ever owned! Both are in mint condition, and have been very well looked after. Totally 100% reliable, and sound phenomenal! Whichever one sells, i'll keep the other. DB750. Comes with 4U Aguilar rackbag with blanking grill. PAT tested recently. £1000. AG500SC. Comes with 3U Gator rackcase. £500. Collection is welcomed from Central Manchester/Blackpool. Meet up possible. Shipping extra. Any questions... Please ask! Photos soon. Both are near mint! Best wishes- Matt SORTED! DB750 Gone, AG500 staying with me
7. Hi guys, Ok, this is a very reluctant sale. I've not owned the bass long, though have recently had a large need for some funds (read below). This is one of the best fretless basses you can buy. It's previous owner (Ville), will confirm that it beats others, including Fodera, hands down. I'm primarily a bass trombonist, and need some urgent repair work doing on my Edwards bass trombone due to wear and tear. I have worn a hole through one of the outer slide tubes, where the horn is held... too much practice you see.. It's going to be a struggle to pay for the repair/replacement, and my priorities really are with my bass trombone, it's what I study and work primarily as. So, something has to go unfortunately. http://basschat.co.u...eback-fretless/ This is a link to the last for sale thread, from Ville. An absolute legend and top guy, who loved the bass, and will vouch for how incredible it really is. He was kind enough to include a new set of Thomastik strings, which will come with the bass. The bass also has a brand new Thomann hard case. It has the finest pre-amp i've EVER come across. The East U-Retro 5 knob deluxe. It is unbelievably versatile.. Any sound is achievable. Near mint condition. No wear on the fretboard. Works flawlessly, plays effortlessly. Incredible action, perfect fretless tone. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask/PM me. http://s626.beta.pho...y/Skjold/ECS6FL Ville has an excellent set of photographs also, so please check these out! Any interested, please let me know. Shipping will be extra, or collection from Central Manchester/Blackpool area is welcomed. Many thanks all, and very best wishes- Matt

Just bought a rather lovely Aguilar AG500SC from Dave. Honestly, an absolute gent. Top guy, very highly recommended! Very helpful, and beautifully looked after amp! Well chuffed Thanks very much Dave! Very much appreciated!
11. Sorry mate, beautiful bass, but don't want to go less than 6 strings. I'm probably going to keep the Smith. I've some work on at the minute, and it's absolutely wonderful to play. Good luck with the sale though Thanks for the post
12. Hey Andy! Sorry to see you're selling the bass, but for a good reason....Congratulations mate!! Email Chris. I do have the details somewhere. It is interesting, and Chris remembers the bass. He did tell me who it was built for, and the year... Can't remember off the top of my head. It is the first 7 string he built though, and I believe was built at their workshop before they moved to Atlas Works. Btw guys- The flamed maple on the bass is absolutely stunning!!
