1. Hi All My clear out continues Super 15 silvercloth, better pictures to follow (drum kit available on finance if you are interested). Specs below: http://barefacedbass.com/product-range/super-fifteen.htm Courier to anywhere at cost. Thanks TK
2. Hi All Never thought I'd do this but... Need the money and have no gigs Utter monster of an amp, 220Watts into 4 or 8 Ohms. Serviced in the summer and only used about 3 or 4 times since Sounds better than Beyonce dipped in Caramel I'm not too sure on pricing really, do tell me via PM if you think i'm miles out. They don't come up very often and it took me a Looooooooonnnng time to find this one. Not really keen on posting the old girl. Can do if you arrange and at your own risk type thing. Collection and prior testing in Dorset preferred all round i think. Tea and biscuits also included Thanks for looking TK
3.
Very nice - could you say how old it is and whether or not you are interested in trades amp-wise?
I've no idea of its exact age, I bought it secondhand from here. They were introduced in 2005 according to Google. So its probably safe to assume 10 years ish? No Amp trades thanks
4. Hi All Shifting some gear to make funds for an ACG order incoming. I've had this for 4 or 5 years now great amp only selling as I have also got a Trace V4 which obviously I can't sell... This is a more versatile amp TBH and definitely louder. (people do go on about how loud these are I know but.... they have some serious punch) If you are getting buried by Marshall stacks this is the amp for you! Trades only for cabs, 2x10 or 2x12 or 1x15 4 or 8 ohms Specs: Footswitchable vacuum tube over-drive with independent over-drive & master level controls Tuner output with footswitchable amplifier mute FX loop with true "hard" bypass switch Balanced xlr line out with pre/post switch, level control & ground lift Two Speakon and two 1/4" speaker output jacks Slave out with level control IMG_6188.MOV
5. Hi All Need to move on some gear to pay for an upcoming ACG delivery... This is a great bass, if i could justify keeping it as well as a custom order I would but I can't so hey ho... Without doubt the best bass I have ever owned. Seriously well made and sounds massive. Powerful EQ can cover pretty much all basses (see what i did there..) 35 inch scale, Maple burl top, purpleheart fingerboard, 24 frets asymmetric neck carve, Bartolinis and a satin finish. Its about as close as you can get to a 535-24 without blowing £4k! I've gigged it a lot over the last year, its been my only bass, It has a few marks and some of the satin-ness is becoming more shiny here and there but no big dings or chunks missing Here's a link to its original sale from bass direct inc all specs etc : http://www.bassdirec...ts/MTD_AG5.html I will need a bass until my new one lands so quite open to lower value trades + cash on this. Squier/Sire Jazz's/PJ's/Jags/dimensions of the 4 or 5 string persuasion would be very acceptable trade bait. Anything thats fairly low value and easily resaleable really. Shipping anywhere at cost in its rather lovely MTD gigbag. I Will include the fretwrap and a new pack of super slinkies to sweeten the deal! Thanks for looking TK
6. Hi All Need to sell some musical gear to pay for an ACG bass order. Sadly this beauty is one that needs to move on.. In mint condition, no dinks or knocks anywhere, only lightly gigged at church (mainly well behaved crowd) Sounds brilliant, looks brilliant good value American made Gibbo Heres the specs etc..: https://www.gak.co.u...gNEMRoCi8Tw_wcB Here's what it sounds like when driven by an accomplished geetarophanist: https://youtu.be/nl1SDdID1tM Will post anywhere at cost. Can ship in a hardcase or its gigbag whichever suits.. Thanks for looking TK
7. I've learned I only need 1 bass.....
8. I've got one of these, It was meant to be just staying until I got My custom ACG next year, I wasn't super excited about it when i bought it, just thought it was sensible and versatile + would cover all eventualities in the meantime... I can't believe how good it is though... Its most likely gonna have to stay. Probably the best bass i've ever owned (and I've owned far too many). Glad you're enjoying yours too
9. I think you'll find it's a Raspberry S'ray... Pass my coat when you get yours... Seriously though... Lovely bass, lush colour GLWTS
10. Just sold 3 basses to Pedaltone aka: Mark of "Classic & Cool guitars" and "Limelight" fame. Truly excellent man to deal with, great communication and zero hassle, picked the basses up in person so had a chance for a bit of a chat too, all round top chap! Thoroughly recommended.
11.
For European purchases via Thomann, the gig bag is extra. About £57 (+'postage if you buy it on it's own)
Thanks. Wider string spacing on the Vintage too right?
12. Nice. Seriously tempted myself for the money. Did these not come with a gig-bag then?
