Unexpected car/home repair bill
I'd have liked to put 'does my bum look big in this bass'

Bought a nice bitsa from Paul. Really good guy to deal with.

Just to throw another angle on this interesting listing, I'm potentially looking for a nice neck for a project bass and assuming this is a standard Fender type fit, this one could fir the bill.
I'm Yorkshire based though so not in a position to collect and part out myself.
I'll stand back and await the sacrilege accusations 😉

Welcome back - saw you playing for Squeeze up at Harrogate the winter before covid. Blue 5 string jazz if I recall ?. Great night.

The body is black walnut built by Paul Walsh @Bassmonkey, finished in Nitro Shoreline Gold by the magnificent Dave Wilson with:
Fender Custom Shop ‘62 pupsBadass II Bridge
Kiogon loom with CTS Pots
Fender tort plate
Fender Precision Knobs
.
With the Allparts jazz neck shown in the pics, she weighs in at a respectable 9lb 4oz. It's in mint, unmarked condition.
NOTE - THIS AD IS JUST FOR THE LOADED BODY
Would rather do collection or happy to drop off or do a halfway meet within 1.5 hours or so of Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
I'm asking £500 for the body. The complete bass is also up for sale on here for £800
Not looking for trades at this point.
Happy to post within UK

It has killed the FS section, for me, to the extent that I rarely bother looking anymore. Aside from adding 25% to the price of everything, I think often sellers are less inclined to go through the paperwork hassle, too, and ship outside the UK.
I think there's validity in a section in FS for EU-based ads but perhaps not an appetite to create another sub-section in there?
Totally agree - or at least be able to filter ads based on location

Sorted me out with a great deal on a little fender rumble amp for the grandsons birthday

Decided to put my Super Twin up for sale. It’s a great cab as we all know but I’ve a Super Compact that suffices for the types of venue we play.
Think this is quite an early model but it’s in top condition, I bought if from Karlfer on here a few years back and it’s had little use in that time.
It’s the cloth grill version so weighs in at a crazy 17kg. It comes with the roqsolid barefaced cover with reinforced front panel to protect the silver cloth.
i’m based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire so it’s going to be collection or meet up.
Not looking for any trades as I’m well stocked with gear.
Asking £800 which seems fair against the £1379 new price (without cover)
