  1. Awesome suggestion, thank you so much! And, btw - I love Quo! ❤️
  2. Hi! I want to take my practice sessions to the next levels, and need to find an online source for backing tracks. I need a mixing functionality so I can remove bass, and preferably without vocals. Is there a preferred platform you guys use, as googling gave me a zillion results? Thanks!
  3. Thanks a lot for this post, getting the bass today. Btw, is the neck _very_ sticky @Dosi Y'Anarchy?
  4. Btw, forgot my original question. Is it possible to have two indidividual tone controls for any given PJ pickup set? 😇
  5. Googled a little, and that is sound advice. Will start there, and thanks!
  6. Hi, and thank you for replies! Thing is, I am a tinkerer by nature. Been building custom PCs for ages, and want to learn more about how a bass works. Maybe or maybe not I will be happy with switching pickups, potmeters, and all the other things, but I want the know how.
  7. Hi! I have one of these basses coming my way, but I want to replace the pickups with something hotter. I am considering this set from Aguilar, but have some questions. The Jaguar comes with two stacked pots; Vol/Tone for P pickup and Vol/Tone for J pickup. Will this be an issue when mounting these pickups, or will I get exactly the same functionality as the stock pickups? I am kinda new to this, but try to learn. Thanks in advance!
  8. Indeed it does, and I will be ordering one today. 🎸
  9. Hi @Reviz Apologies for necroing your thread, but did you get this bass?
  10. Thanks a lot for replies, certainly learned something new here. I am looking for a bass in the vein of Music Man but with a Jazz Bass-esque neck, and can spend up to 1500.- Euro. Maybe my best bet is to look for a used Sterling?
  11. Hi! The market is overflooded with Fender J or P clones, remixes, better versions and so on. So I wonder if there are any Music Man StingRay inspired basses out there? The Chowny Davie504 springs to mind, but I can't seem to find so moany else. Thinking body design and ofc the large humbucker. Any ideas? Thanks!
  12. I have just started playing bass again, and really really enjoy it. Plectrum on a fretted 4-string only, and I try as hard as I can to avoid GAS. Looking forward to get to know you lot! Best, Stef
