I wish all these great pedals had tuners built in. Then a player could more easily just use a single pedal for Di, drive, EQ and tuning.
I guess there must be a good reason.

Nice one, really clever solution.
Lovely instrument too.

Nice work, I've tried a few different options for tilting and lifting cabs over the years, and I agree, many are too shallow as they're designed for guitar amps.
Your solution looks excellent.

There's the Fishman Fission? Gives octave up, forth below and 5th above.
Very lightly dialed in might be worth a thought?

Nice work! Glad it's made such an improvement.

So if you were seeking a bassist would you have one that played competently and was easy going but walked very slowly with a stick and needed help with gear?
Yep absolutely

Unplugged for me. Plenty loud enough to hear what I'm playing.

It’s a bass bag mister ? Why sully such a nice gig bag with a toy bass ?
Good point. I'll be hurling the other instrument into a river. 😜

I have one of these to take a bass and a guitar to jam sessions. Works a treat.
Good luck with the sale.

Nope, I'd be reporting the incident to the staff (if possible), reporting to the police and never going back.

Originals band and the guitarist could commit to gigs due to his work schedule being unpredictable (fair enough). I tried to bring up the idea of finding a dep for the gigs he couldn't make but that didn't go down well. Broke up shortly after.

I saw Ash play recently at Rock City in Nottingham. It had been a good few years since I'd seen them last but it was a really great night. Great sounds. Great vibes.

Went to see Jesca Hoop at Metronome in Nottingham last night.
Intriguing performer. Lovely voice and unusual (I think delicately palm muted) guitar style.
Great sound in the venue.

Cici here!
Well, sadly I can’t help being a girl, and I have long hair because I like it. It has nothing to do with my playing, and I’ve never rested on my looks to gain followers, nor am I interested in anyone who does.
I take great pride in being the best musician I possibly can be, and it’s about the music for me.
I also dedicate a lot of my time to trying my best to help other people pick up the instrument, sharing any info I have, and seeing where I can push the instrument in my solo bass jams.
I’m not interested in being an ‘instagram girl’ so please don’t diminish me to that, and take the time to truly look at what I do (whether you like it or not is fine). Thank you.
Huge respect and support from me. I really love your playing.

I went to see Pulp last night at Finsbury Park supported by Wet Leg. Sound wasn't perfect, unfortunately it was a bit windy but the energy was great, a really fun show.

I'm afraid I can't offer advice on the venue specifically but interesting that Via Fossa are doing multi band gigs.
Wishing you a great gig.

Great aren't they? The genre is a variation on Cumbia.
Thank you, I'll have to look up some more of that.

I'm enjoying the set by Los Bitchos. Hadn't heard of them before. Not sure how I'd describe the genre, anyone care to enlighten me?

If I'd been there I would have gone to see QOTSA. I'd have been extremely satisfied with that decision. They were fantastic 🙂
I'm looking forward to catching up with that set. Sounds like they're on top form at the moment.

I'm aware that some do. Microbass 3 is one of the ones that do isn't it. Well pointed out.
