  1. Great bit of kit, with a 9v in!!, they do indeed cut through the mix, GLWS. I have an original Maestro, some crazy fuzz in abundance if you keep changing the batteries that is.
  2. Yes I agree and probably live I'm near the book settings for the YYZ, ( but it was in reference to the rack or DI2112 ) , having never gigged the rack or the 2112, indeed things change live from a medium level practice room.
  3. I just returned my UA Max pedal, I too was very excited about the 1176 and the LA 2A, plus you get a little bit of 610 Pre, I really tried to get the thing to perform without clipping out, I could get a sense of what it was capable of, alas it's not for Bass and mines a passive Bass too. There is a HPF switch on the app ( 1176 side only ) and this did help, but not enough. I emailed UA many times for ideas and help, but the response wasn't that helpful, nothing I didn't know already. They did not acknowledge there was a problem though '' It works fine for us ''. If they sort the problem out for Bass, then I'll buy another as it's a fantastic concept.
  4. Me too, that separate bass and saturation section is just superb, in fact I'd go so far as to say it's the best part. I bought the Di2112 too for the Tight switch ( awesome ) and the fact you can go with one mixed signal out or stick with the split channel out, alas I haven't used my 2112 at all and stick with the rack or live use a YYZ, although live I do miss the adjustable saturation part. I did find the manual settings were a touch on the fizzy side for me, but defo a good starting point, keep fiddling and you'll find it's an altogether superb unit.
