  1. I am looking for a new owner for my Jaydee Supernatural GA24, build in 1986 by John Diggins. I am the second owner and got her in a trade, but she doesn't get the attention she deserves. Electronics work splendedly, frets are in good condition, as is the fretboard. There are a few marks on the body, and in particular the holes underneath the body and on the headstock. I've made pictures of that. But nothing which will affect playability. And this bass plays great! All original, except the tuners, since one broke. Weight is 4.2kg. Price is negotiable, and i am open for partial trades (only four string basses). Feel free to send me a message. Shipping is no problem, but risks are for the buyer.
  2. I bought this bass almost a year ago from a great seller on this forum. It is the most special/unique bass i have ever played, and i really love the sound, but i just don't pick him up to play my songs...and that is a pity because he deserves to be played. This is a Dolphin SN TCS, 4 strings, with set neck and tone chamber system. They did this because the bodywood (afzelia) is pretty heavy. But thanks to this wood, the sound of the bass is really low, deep, thick and punchy. You can come close to a Warwick Thumb with it's twin jazz pickups near the bridge, but you can also get a very good jazz-sound if you pull the stacked pot switch for a single coil setting. The bass is made in 2002. Specs from the Warwick website below. The just-a-nut II is upgraded to a just-a-nut III by it's previous owner. There are some scratches but nothing serious. The white marks near the pickups will go away with a little bit of beeswax:) And then the bass looks as new! For closure i've added a few pictures where you can see that there is nothing serious in the body, but only on the surface. Ovangkol Neck - set in to body Afzelia body - sandwich construction with tone chambers Natural oil finish Wenge fingerboard 34" Scale length Nut width 1.5" 26 jumbo bronze frets MEC Jazz pickup and twin jazz pickup. MEC active electronics - stacked bass and treble. Stacked pickup blend and master volume. Both pots are pull out switches - one is active/passive, the other splits the double j for a single coil sound. The Dolphin is located in Germany, but i can meet in Germany or in The Netherlands. Shipping at buyers costs and risk. No trades please. For more information or pictures, please send a PM.
  3. Back for sale is this beauty: a made in USA Fender Precision bass from the Dan Smith-era, made in 1982. Bought this not long ago from a fellow Dutchman and great and kind seller, but i also bought a Fender '62 avri jazz and that is better suited for me. Color is black with a maple neck. It still has the 70s type neck/logo/tuners, but the body has the deeper/rounder contours that returned in the Dan Smith era. Also the white pickup covers are typical for that Era. It still has the 70s style chrome bridge- and pickup covers though. Overall it looks like a 70s Fender bass, but with a nicer build quality, very typical from basses made in that period ('82 and '83). The bass is in pretty good condition for being nearly 40 years old. It has a few damages and usermarks, but nothing serieous. Overall it has a fresh appearance. Its not only a great looking bass, it plays lovely too with a low action if wished so. Technically the bass is all fine. The neck is straight and adjustable, and all the electronics and hardware function like they should. The bass appears to be all original except for the bridge plate. Nut width is 42mm and weight 4.7kg. A non-original generic hardcase is included. €1.500 (£1.350) The bass is located in Germany, but I am happy to ship with europe/UK at buyers risk, or i can meet in The Netherlands/Germany. For questions or trades or anything else: please send me a personal message.

  11. Hello there, thank you for your reply. Yes, i agree with you, some people hate it and some people love it. I love it:p But that is not your question. The first piece near the pickguard won't easily come off. The metal has some screws and there are two switches which will cause a problem if i put it off. And if there is one thing i am not, it is a good technician. So i am sorry, but that is going to be difficult.
  12. A trade + cash is also possible:) But thank you for the information!
  13. Thank you for your message! I sure will regret this... If you want you can send me a picture from yours when it is finished? I would like that:)
  14. Last pricedrop: £1400. I am reluctantly selling my Wood & Tronics Orion, which i bought 3 months ago from a very nice person here on basschat. Most of the time i play on my 4-string bass, and i can't afford it to be not played at all, given the current circumstances... But all things aside: this is the best playing 5-string bass i ever had: smooth and fast neck, big and versatile sound and this bass got the looks as well (my opinion). Conditions are like new! I only played the bass at my home and was very carefully. I am asking £1600. I am also willing to accept trade offers, but i need some cash too. Only looking for 4-string basses. I can ship with a gigbag. I've copied the specs from the old page, here we go: Body: ash Top: tiger maple Neck: maple Fingerboard: purpleheart 24 frets Dots: orange pearl Pickups: W&T cusom single coil (neck) + W&T custom Jazzbucker (bridge) Preamp: active/passive 3Leaf Pike Shapeshifter (blue and red modules included. The blue one is more....."vintage" and smooth, the red one..."modern" and growly) vol/bal, high, mid, bass, + mid freq switch The Jazzbucker is a double single coil, you can switch between single/both/single - the one towards the neck is jazz "60 position, for a classic J 60 or "Jaco" style - the one near the bridge is more "dry"', a sort of "Alembic" style, and brighter - both....hold on tight and release the Kraken! For more photos or information, please contact me with a PM.
  15. Yes i am sorry , i will change it.
  16. I am selling my Music Man Sterling USA in honeyburst with Maple neck, made in 2008. Comes with original hardcase and extra white pickguard. The original black one is also there. She is in good condition, but has a few dings and dongs, which i tried to catch in the pictures. But nothing serious. The Sterling sounds as thick and punchy as his 'bigger' brother the Stingray, but is in my opinion more versatile. You get a 3-way switch and 3-bands EQ . The biggest differences with the Stingray are the smaller body size and smaller neck, more like a jazz. Bass can be picked up (with care) in Bad Bentheim or can be shipped in a box. Price: £925. Thanks for looking!

  17. Yes indeed. I have had the same question. On other fora, most people say (altough it is not always good to hear) that a 2EQ Stingray has a bit more lows and less treble then 3EQ, even if you turn the treble away on a 3Eq. But there are many people and many opinions, so correct me if i am wrong:)
  18. Hello there, To make some funds i am selling my 2EQ Music Man Stingray, color black and a nice maple neck. Weight = 3.9kg! Made between '96 and '98, the bass has some minor marks on the body, but nothing serious. Everything works fine and she plays superb. With the bass comes the original case. I can ship everywhere on buyers costs. I have a box at the moment. PM for more pictures or information, don't hesitate:)
  19. I will look at some trade offers!
  20. Thanks!
  21. Now £1350.
  22. I bought my first G&L Tribute L2500 form Quent a few days ago. I couldn't be any happier with the smooth communication. Quent is also very happy to help with any questions, and wants to share his experience! Would love to do business again. Cheers! Paul
