It has an ash body with 4A quilted maple top, quilted maple neck with birdseye maple fretboard, green front and side leds, Rumour upgraded circuit, schaller S2000 bridge, hipshot lightweight tuners and GB pickups. Full original and with upgraded electronics. You have master volume, blend, high, mid, bass and two switches for a mid cut and the LED's on/off. Looks really fantastic, and weights only 3.85 kg. Also in good condition! Comes with softcase. Price: £1950/2250 euro's. Because of a coming purchase, no trades for this one. Please contact me with anything wit a PM. I will look at offers too. Shipping possible. Location: Germany. Thanks for looking! PS: the bass is really in good condition. If you see something weird or different in the pictures, it is probable the reflection.
  2. Hi, thanks for the message. But with Alembic the model is determined by the electronics. You can have the body shape in whatever you want, and for example with Signature electronics, then the name of the model is a Signature model. If you put in Series electronics, the model is called a Series I or II model. This one has Europa electronics, therefore it's an Europa model.
  3. Thank you both for your comment:) I don't know why i can't capture the real color, because the bass looks better i real life.

I sold my bass to Nikos. Very clear and fast communication. Very fast payment and i hope Nikos will be happy with the bass! Great to do business with Nikos:)
  5. I bought a bass from Ovi last week. Because of the value of the bass, we met in the middle and we talked about basses and stuff. Very good communications and i had a great time talking with him. Very trustworthy person, and the bass is great: exactly like Ovi told in his advertisement. Great doing business with him!
  6. For sale/trade this Alembic Europa 5. The serial number says it's a 'H' model, which stands for Elan, but the electronics are from the Europa model, so i think i can say it's an Europa model. This Alembic has a maple body with quilted maple top, neckthrough constuction with ebony fingerboard, inlays, and a 7 piece maple with purpleheart stringers. Color is a difficult to capture Dragon Breath burst. In reality the color is more red. The bass is in excellent condition and comes with a case which suits the shape of the bass perfectly. The string spacing is 16mm! Although i have big hands, i really like it. Weight: 4.9kg. Bass balances perfectly. Europa electronics are: 3 knobs and 3 switches. The knobs are: volume; pickup blend with center detent and Q-filter. The switches are: bass cut/flat/boost; treble cut/flat/boost and the Q-filter on or off. I've looked up some short explanation about this famous Q-filter from Alembic. This is from the Alembic Club: Basically, the filter control is a low pass filter; as you roll it back it lowers the point at which it passes low frequency signals and blocks high frequency signals. To quote Mica, "the range is from 350Hz-6KHz. Wherever you set the filter, only frequencies below that cutoff point are passed." The Q switch works in concert with the filter and provides an 8db boost at the cut off frequency you've set with the filter. When the switch is off you get a flat response on to the filter setting. Again to quote Mica, "the Q affects mainly the attack portion of the note". She is for sale or partial trade and only four strings. That is why i am selling. I think my price is fair, given the new price of Alembic basses ($12.400) and because of the almost new condition of the bass. But feel free to tell me otherwise:) Pictures:
  7. I have no idea, i don't have a fender jazz/precision so i can't compare them next to eachother unfortunately.
  8. For sale (or partial trade) is this Roscoe Classic Custom Masterbuilt jazz bass, 5 string, from Keith Roscoe Guitars, made in 2018, in Olympic White It is a five string 'jazz' type bass, with a precision pickup and a jazz pickup in a jazz-shaped body. This bass was presented at the NAMM show in 2017 if i recall correctly. This bass features an Aguilar 5P60 Precision pickup and an Aguilar 5J-HC Jazz pickup. The preamp is an Aguilar OBP-1 with active/passive switch and a tone control which works both in active ánd in passive mode. The bass is handbuilt in 2018, i am the second owner. The bass comes with original padded gigbag and certificate. Scale: "35. Price: £2000/€2300. Shipping is possible, but at your own risk and costs. Look at the website for prices and what you pay to import from the USA. I think the price is alright, but feel free to send me an offer by PM. The bass is in almost new condition. I prefer a cash sale for obvious reasons, but a partial trade for a four string bass is optional. For more information: please send me a PM. 10. I totally agree with the post from Mikkel-S. Nicola wanted to trade my Music Man Stingray: the bass arrived safely and the money was there on time, as was promised. Great communication, both on here and Whatsapp. A friendly guy who knows how to carefully ship a bass! Glad to do business with him and i can recommend him to anyone:)
  11. Yes, quite similar! I think my '62 jazz has a slightly thinner neck, but it is jazz-like indeed.
