The Minnow is a high quality, low noise bass preamp DI pedal equipped with our Bullhead EQ section. This single channel Bullhead preamp features shelving EQ’s for the BASS and TREBLE controls and variable band pass EQ’s for the LO MID and HI MID. A selectable mid frequency for both LO MID and HI MID controls provide complete control over the midrange. We’ve also added HI SHIFT to the treble frequency to further tune the cut/boost capability of the treble control. In addition, the Minnow preamp includes a tuner out for silent tuning and a balanced XLR output for use as a DI, great for both live and studio use.

Is it possible to add a photo orvtwo of the neck to get a better idea of how low an action it is possible to get? With the extra mass bridge is it possible to reduce the height of the strings so that a smooth and very low action is possible? Thanks.

Hi @Lozz196had the bass checked today and no loose wiring or dry joints, the pots are all ok as well. Although there is resistance measured at the neck pickup it seems like the problem is somehow connected to the neck pickup. I'm having to send it back to Fender repairs to investigate and sort! 

Hi, I have a 4 month old Fender Jazz Bass custom shop bass. It has been working fine but yesterday, out of the blue, the neck pickup developed a problem. There is very little (but some) volume from the neck pickup as well as a lot of what sounds like earthing noise when the bridge pickup if turned down. The bass hasn't been bumped or dropped and has been well cared for. I've looked under the control plate and the wiring looks to be fine as far as I can see. Any ideas about what this could be? There is an orange one at BassDirect at the moment but can't find any others in the UK. Appreciate views etc etc. 

Thanks for the advice guys ... hadn't thought of running one or two cabs at the 2.67 ohm setting! I'll be sure to check that the speakon cables are proper genuine neutrik plugs as well! I'm slowly recovering and hoping that in the next few weeks I'll be able to start arranging rehearsals once again!
