    Hi Dave I'm at work so cant weigh it myself but online Markbass spec says 14.5 kilos. It's an easy one handed lift. I've had it up and down the stairs of venues myself with ease.....and I'm no weight lifter at all. U r welcome to come and have a play through it/trial lift. I'm in Old Trafford so prob 15/20 min drive from you max.

    Mines just gone back on my board. I was finding my amp sound a bit dull the other day, whacked this in line on a whim.....Transformed the sound i was getting (to my ears anyway). Added tonnes of character with the treble whacked up.

    Hi has anyone tried the Markbass 3/10 cabs that are around on the major retailers? They seem super light and pretty powerful for their size. Just wondering if anyone has had a play through one or owns one? No retailers near me carry them to allow a quick play through one. They all run at 6ohms. Ones called the 'pure' model and the others called 'energy'. No clue on the difference....might be the type of tweeter. Cheers Paul

    Open to sensible offers on this Ashdown 8ohm 410 cabinet for sale. £250. Head shown in the photos is now sold. The cab has been played through once. It's brand new and unmarked. It weighs about 21kg but it's an easy lift for two......if you spend more time in the gym than me... probably an easy for one to lift as well. No where near as horrible to lift as the old ABM 410 I had. Full specs on the ashdown website can easily be found via Google. Happy to travel 30/40 minutes in the car to meet and handover to buyer. Cannot ship.

    Open to sensible offers on this. MIJ Squire Jazz Bass. Serial number starting K0. Bought from a forum member in the last couple of years. Lovely aged Olympic White finish. Some natural mojo/chipping of the finish at one end where it looks like one of the previous owners put it down a bit clumsily. Tried to show this in the final picture. Previous owner informed me he changed the pickup's to Toneriders. I changed the tuners to hipshots as the original ones were no longer holding their tuning. I updated the pick guard to a black one but it also comes with original tort one. I also added the string retainer to fix buzzing on the A string. All good now. I can chuck in the original black pick up covers if preferred. Strings are Daddario chromes regular scale. Weight 4.3 kilos. Ideally collection from South Manchester but I can do neck off shipping if buyer arranges and is happy to cover cost and risk. Please message direct to sort shipping if you need to.     I'm not very good at describing sounds in a useful way. I can share a sample potentially tomorrow. It's probably like a jazz bridge pickup in many ways but with a difference....a bit fuller maybe. That's prob not much help. I'll try and sort a sample. Both on together is pretty aggressive.

    Price drop to £85. Way Huge Pork Loin. Clean blend works really nicely with bass. No real damage or marks to speak of. Battery chamber all good. Velcro on the base. All the original packaging intact. Price includes UK postage or collection from South Manchester for a fiver less.

    UK shipping possible now at buyers risk/cost...... I finally have a suitable box. DM to arrange. MIJ/MIM double P assembled for me by luthier Jim Fleeting. Comprising of an early 1980s Fernandez body and a MIM standard Precision neck. Neck feels to me like modern C type but I'm no expert. Standard MIM tuners do the job perfectly well, 2 Tonerider pickups. Lovely bass. Weighs around 4.3 kilos. Stacked volume knob for the pickups. Push/pull on the tone to give series/parallel when both front and back pickups are on full.
