as been said the serial number on stingray is on the bridge..that serial is B012xxx that refers to a 79 stingray why resist to gas? embrace the gas..eheheheh

I have 2 nice basses for sale here : the first one is a FENDER JAZZ 1976 , all original , black on black , maple board with white blocks , that is in perfect condition , it is an early 76 and is quite rare because it's one of the rare 76 bass that still have the serial on the neckplate instead on the headstock , plays wonderful...the condition of the bass are absolutely stunning i would say a 9/10 . Hello guys i have here for trade an ultra ultra rare thing..this is a Warwick fortress masterman with birdseye maple body and birdseye neck and rosewood fingerboard . the wood is absolutely stunning!!! i got this from a guy here in Rome and then asked some info at warwick...they answered me that this basses was made in only 20 pieces in 1996 ...so this is an ultra rare warwick!! and it's sound great!!! it has also original warwick gigbag , warwick wax and warwick trussrod key it is for trade only right now...i'm searching for 70's fenders or pre ernie stingrays or sabre ...i can consider also rickenbackers..obviously feel free to shot me other offers..the wors i can say is no i can add some cash for the right bass..pm for offers here you are some pictures..i can make others if needed :
