Anyone used the pigtronix octava micro? Small footprint and the option of a fuzz is nice
-
Fully working compressor pedal. I primarily used it on bass and is amazing for both bass and guitar. Gain, level, compression and attack dials.
Couple of nicks off the paint show in pictures. I'm willing to meet the buyer halfway if reasonable distance.

As the title suggest I have some money to burn! I have a new amp with a built in compressor so I can sell my compressor pedal and free up space on my pedal board.
Anyone with some suggestions? I've only ever tried the Boss (twas good) because there's not many to try near me

Update! Just got a trace Elliott 1215 gp12 combo, loud enough and more. Great price, as seller just wanted it gone.
New question needs answering though; what does the pre-shape in/out utton do? The others I understand like harmonic emphasis, eq, drive, etc. But pre-shap seems to raise mid- frequencies. Can anyone provide insight?

same with ear plugs, when you're young you feel indestructible
I have been wearing ear plugs for a while now, didn't in my 20s but luckily got away without any lasting damage

I have just found a trace Elliot 1215 1x15 300w do that may do the job

I have band mates and my back isn't made of paper. I still may get a head and a 2x10 if I find a good deal

Well.....years ago, when I was young, fit and healthy, I borrowed a trace 4x10 combo. Great sound, very punchy.
I did however try and move it a few feet across stage..... and gave up.
Those things are SERIOUSLY heavy!!
I'll definitely get some wheels whatever the choice
-
Thanks guys. I should have said it was the 4x10 I was looking at but if 2x10 or 1x15 does the job I'll buy that. I'll definitely look to have casters on it or fix them myself

I see a lot of these two amps on gumtree and eBay for varying prices (£250-350 usually). So they are popular, my questions are;
1. Are they good? Seem to have a lot of parameters and eq options
2. Loud enough for a rock covers band?
I'm not too bothered by weight as I still have a good back and band mates to help me. Have you played either and which one do you prefer? Or should I carry on looking

2 steps back? You were lucky!
Aye, what I mean by steps, I was shuffling backwards

Pffft! There's space for days. I don't want to sound like the monty python Yorkshireman, but.... I played a venue where I could take 2 steps back, none forward and pray the other guitarist didn't face me in case of a head stock to the eye

Got myself adventure audio zenith glacial overdrive. It’s got a switch for the low end and a boost button which can come before or after the drive circuits. Neat little pedal
-
I've also heard good things about source audio aftershock and I'm wondering if the multiwave bass distortion is as good?
It's cheaper used and has multiple options
-
I've had hassle returning products before and getting money back (not with guitar guitar) and I'll have to pay postage.
Seems like the best drive pedals are expensive ; see dark glass tech 21
May have to save some more money

I thought it was a bit wooly sounding. And not in a cranked B15 sort of way either.
Didn't like it at all so I didn't buy it.
Any pedal you do recommend?
What we're you playing through and with when trying it out?
That was my experience with the bass Big muff. I know it's a fuzz rather than overdrive but it had no definition
-
I've seen this pedal on guitar guitar on sale. Unfortunately I'm not close enough to try it. How does it compare to say boss bb1 or bb1x, mxr overdrive or ehx battalion? I have tried the Boss and mxr.
Should I just save up for tech 21 sansamp?
Anyone tried it and thoughts?
Thanks

I always look for second hand. Most of my gear is used or b-stock

Unless you don’t really get on with the Jazz in general I’d look at a higher priced Jazz, you never know, you may just prefer the one you already have. I looked for ages for a Jazz I could really gel with, had an array of American and Mexican ones, Standards/Deluxes etc, never found it. Lucked out by chance with a Squier VM77 Jazz. And if you do find a more expensive one you’re happy with, well result.
I actually really like the jazz, so a fender may be what I need. I played a mates low end fender and liked it, just viewing options.
If you could only choose one octave pedal
