    It's just that I am using facebook to host my images. I have no idea. You ought to ask one of the mods or something.

    I cut out one piece today but I think I might have to do it again anyway, which is tres irritatant.

    Here is the current line up. Managed to cut out 6 pieces so far. 6! Not bad for 2 days of work...



    This is the fabric I am using. I ordered 2 metres but I actually got closer to 2.3 which is great news because I will be able to wrap one piece around the whole of the side 4 faces of the cab.

    You can buy patch bays as a separate unit. Luckily my sound card has a breakout box. As you can see, I've got plenty of room to plug and unplug cables, but a patch bay or some kind of mixer would be something to think about if I couldn't reach the back of them for whatever reason.

    +1. You should have all the controls that need editing at the front and all the controls that are permanently plugged in at the back. If you have inputs that need unplugging that are at the back of a rack unit, then you can get patch bays for 1/4" jacks and you can run multicore cables to breakout boxes from your mixer to the microphones if required.

    Why not build your own? All you need is a couple of bits of 6x2 MDF, an 8x4 sheet of plywood, cut it all out, screw it all together and you're done:



    This particular model has a whole 183 cm of desk space. Also it has a platform for the monitors, which doubles up as space underneath for rack gear. The "shelves" on the side are both 19" as well.

    I was not really entirely happy with the low end response of these speakers, but I had to compromise with these. I thought these seemed similar to the speakers in my old Markbass 210HF which was pretty much the same size with double front vents though.

    Honestly, I have been very tempted to do something like that, put a red, yellow and 2 green speakers in it and call it "the traffic light" :D I think for purely practical reasons though, you would want to split it up into 2 2x10 cabs. Also not sure how fantastic a 4x10 vertical cab would sound.

    I got these today:



    Apologies for the dirty sofa. I only ordered them yesterday, great service! They are 16 ohm as you can see so they will be wired in parallel for 8 ohm total. Also got a 15 mm router bit to cut out the recesses for the speaker panel.

    Concerned my boobs are too big for this :(

    Exactly! Well the guitarist pisses me off as well because he's constantly dissing my stuff and my recordings. This is despite the fact he didn't even know the basics like the fact you're supposed to double-track guitars for stereo even though he has been at uni doing music tech for 2 years. I don't know.

    Lol we have about 5 tellys in our house, including the old one in the cupboard under the stairs. Could do with a couple of baggies though.
